With the Q6 on my mind, I've spent the day travelling the Newcastle Metro system today, imagining these 8 wheel beasts pondering over some of the lines ive been on. Some great architecture too and thoroughly recommended!
It can never be recreated, but at least we can still hear what a Q6 sounded like as it slogged up to Consett from Tyne Dock with another banking at the rear, all thanks to Peter Handford.
It should also be asked: did he complete the green line challenge? I don't think it's green anymore, however it involved a pint in every pub from the airport station to South Shields...
