I emailed Peco to enquire about when and indeed if we would ever see LC 120 / 121 and have been informed that production has been put back to 2020. With all the recent electric releases they're missing a trick IMHO.

I see that Hattons are showcasing the livery samples that they've received. Unfortunately though they only seem to have samples of the older livery although they look pretty good to me.

This is the modelling equivilant of childbirth. I'd completely forgotten what a pain removing the body is, although this was a walk in the park in comparison to trying to get the screws back in after fitting the DCC chip! Great model however and I may buy another in 3-5 years time...

Thanks for the update Greg, Given that the model now doesn't even feature on Bachmann's website, i'd begun to give up hope of ever seeing it in the flesh! I'll keep my fingers crossed that the ship carrying them isn't captured by pirates......

As a slight aside, I'm planning on combining the station building with some of the Wills station canopy kits. I'm assuming that Railmatch GWR cream will be a close enough match for the station canopy, doors etc. What I'm not so sure on is the colour of the door frames etc. Could anyone steer me in an appropriate direction please?
