I had expected to see this livery in this raft of announcements. Probably just as well that they held off for a bit longer to give the bank account a chance to catch its breath!

Just received mine and they are stunning models. The tail lights are indeed removable and also run from track current with the option to control from a 6 pin DCC chip. I'll get a full review up on my Tileford You Tube channel later on today.

I'm having some issues with a TTS decoder in one of my HSTs. Long story short the engine start up / running sound is allocated to F8 whilst F1 (which would ordinarily be the engine sound) is empty. Does anyone know how I can point the engine sound to F1 please? The chip is in the powered car so no programming issues and i'm using an ECoS ESU if that helps. Many thanks in advance

It would be great to see these produced in the Touax livery - so different & distinctive and now a fairly regular sight in my neck of the woods

Good point - but bearing in mind that my layout is based around Reading and I doubt that a 92 has ever been anywhere near the GWR mainline I was already sailing pretty close to the wind in terms of realism anyway! Ah well - they look great so what the heck

Answered my own question - it took an element of brute strength and bravery and it popped into place!

Has anyone had experience of fitting the Dapol MHA set? I'm struggling to get anywhere thus far....

Stunning work @Andy7 love the sheer variety of finish from the subtlety on the 66/68 through to the more extreme work on the 60 /56. Inspirational stuff!

Finished these off yesterday and am super happy with the results. I followed an excellent video on You Tube uploaded by The Scrap Line to give me the confidence to have a go and really glad that I did.

I do wonder if the delay is in part down to the decision to include a working exhaust as an option. Personally I think that its an unnecessary novelty but Dapol obviously feel that there is a market for it & good luck to them for developing it. I do agree with @adb968008 that Dapol might want to look at a couple of additional liveries to add to the release (Hanson & Aggregate Industries ideally) but in the mean time, I can wait.

Some of the Burgundy Touax ones would definitely tempt my wallet out of retirement!

The Dapol Digest used to be a really useful source of project updates etc but I have to say that over the last 12 months or so it seems to have become redundant. Thankfully there does seem to be an update on here courtesy of @MGR Hooper! above but it does seem poor that Dapol haven't seen fit to announce the delay and the reason for it. I'm sympathetic to their issue but if you don't hear anything the assumption is that there's no news or that they can't be bothered to keep customers up to speed. Compare and contrast with some of the newer manufacturers who have clearly taken the decision to fully engage through social media etc

I know that this is on the EFE thread but as the 58 is effectively the Heljan 58 I wondered if anyone has experienced issues with the model derailing on curves? It only happens in one direction of travel and has got me bamboozled! I've started a thread on the Heljan product page but as yet no nibbles. Many thanks in advance for any help

Has anyone experienced problems with the Heljan 58 derailing on 2nd/3rd radius curves? The problem only seems to occur in one direction of travel. Ive checked back to backs on the wheels which seem to be ok so a bit stumped. Any advice would be gratefully received.
