Hello Since a young age I've been modelling both N and OO with dad, however the last 5 or so years I've had 2 highly detailed N gauge layouts. However, O gauge has always appealed to me so I'm going to take the plunge and give it ago.. My idea is a simple 4ft x 1ft plank, this will have a single track with hard standing in front of it, pretty basic I know but has funds become available I will add to the length and detail. Choice of wagons will be either a single Cargowaggon, with timber waiting to be loaded, or a couple of Heljan VAA wagons with bagged items.. a standard forklift and a couple of figures will complete the scene. I'll keep you posted on updates. Matt

Just wondering what people's thoughts are.. Every franchise seems to be promising new trains at the moment, so in say 7 or 8 years time what's going to happen to all the pacers, 150, 153, 156, 158, 159, 170, 175 units? Will they save a few and be warmed stored or is it a full on scrap and buy new era what we look to be in? Thanks, Matt

What sort of wagons you thinking of using? Cargowaggons or VGAs for your Warehouse? Cargowaggons look great but they are space eaters being about 20" long per wagon? Thanks, Matt

Thanks guys. I'm thinking late 90s to present day. Some one most be running the Heljan 60s and 37s plus I'd like to see how the Cargowaggons look, Hattons have them on offer at the moment and I'm very tempted. Thanks, Matt

Go treat yourself to a pint or two.. Layout looks great, you should be proud of what you have achieved. I'd recommend if you get frustrated etc then walk away for abit, you won't produce your high standards and probably only end up having to go over it again at a later date.

Hello Due to a change of plan.. (a baby on the way) I'm looking to sell on my 6 wagons. Theses are brand new and never been out there boxes. I was hoping to get a small layout up and going before Christmas but has my plans have now changed thus isn't going to happen. I have - 2 x triple packs - red. Just a question about the models.. The triple pack come with a cardboard sleeve saying what's in there and very colourful etc etc.. But, the single wagons are just in a plain white sleeve? Was it ever considered to make them both match in some way? It doesn't really matter, just asking that's all. Matt
