  1. This has to be the best model in oo I have ever seen, such a refreshing change from Bachmann and Hornby stuff. I like the humour in the instructions, the packaging is first rate and I can't wait to set it up this weekend. Defo going to order the hst as I'm sure it will be just as good.
  2. Gone a bit quiet on this topic, come on modellers get those orders flowing, who has chosen what livery? GDS for me, green with small yellow panels and a bit of light green somewhere.
  3. Well done, exciting times ahead for 7mm modelling. Looking forward to supporting you with some purchases.
  4. What about a Clayton!! That's a bit bigger than a Class 15 or a Class 24.
  5. I like the refreshing approach of announcing a loco a couple,of months before it hits the shelves, I think we're all a bit fed up of long lead times. If the little loco company can turn out a new model every 9 to12 months I think they will sell them easily.
  6. I know a long wait is on the cards! I like the little loco company, they act and don't just talk about it. I fear with DJM it's all talk!
  7. A class 23 for me, continue the eastern theme, loads of variation too!
  8. Brilliant news on the Class 15, very tempted by these! Do you intend to develop the better quality etches for the original 03 and 04 kits, I think it got as far as the frames the last time I looked.
  9. Love the falcon plate on the blue one looks better than any etched efforts I've seen. Can't wait till Friday got a lime green one and banger blue one due, going to be skint for modelling till the summer but looks worth it!
  10. I can feel my wallet getting lighter already!
  11. Being serious for a second I still have plenty of oo stuff but slowly making the change to 7mm it is expensive but the prices have not seen the massive recent increase in oo, my oo purchases have slowed a lot now. 7mm do provide parts to scratch build, bogies buffers etc and with plasticard it is relatively easy to build models quite cheaply. Good luck to those who want a rake of these hoppers. Living close to drax I know how they are awash with cash and wouldn't be surprised if they give these models out for to employees free of charge.
  12. Trade up to 7mm gauge and scratch build them I think that would be feasible for a skilled modeller.
  13. I had the same problem with a previous loco I bought, where did you buy them from I found Howes add some more packing and the outcome is often better.
  14. Who on earth is going to buy these at this price? Must be mad. The real thing is very impressive but a full rake of 20 odd?
  15. Any idea when Falcon is due, must be getting close?
  16. I have a few Heljan models with errors and I'm ok with that but in this instance I would go for jltrt the error is too basic and looks wrong.
  17. Brilliant news this will look fantastic well done Rapido and Locomotion.
  18. The damaged Heljan models, which retailer did they come from?
  19. If Pete makes any ground breaking announcements this weekend can somebody post them please. I take it so far new models on the horizon are Class 22, D600's then over the horizon DP1 and Class 14 then in earth orbit Class 77 and 76? That's my understanding of where things stood at breakfast time.
  20. Go on Pete do kestrel, Heljan will only make a hash of it!
  21. Exciting news all round, you are right about it being cheaper than the loveless one I hope it looks good. I'm really excited about the Woodhead electrics and teddy bear news, got my fingers crossed for a Class 55!
  22. Prototype deltic it is then! Ah well I'll live in hope for a production one. Honestly surprised at the choice I would have thought lh loveless had flogged that one to death.
