From an email received from Bachmann today The Webb Coal Tanks Have Arrived! We are pleased to announce that our OO scale Webb Coal Tanks have arrived at our Bachmann Office. The Trio of steam locomotives are made up of three liveries; LNWR plain black (35-050), BR black early emblem (35-052) and LMS Black (35-051). Our models feature fully detailed cab interior, Ramsbottom or Ross pop safety valves, steam heating pipes and LNWR or LMS lamp irons.

It is the SAME model in a Spectrum box. Check on Bachmann`s web site under Bachmann products -

No it has not got an 8 pin socket. The Spectrum one in the American is DCC fitted already ref no 87902 -
No Hornby pay x for a product and sell it to the retailers at y that is their profit. The retailer sells it at z so that is the RETAILERS profit and not split with Hornby.
