  1. I hope they are paying you several multiples of the minimum wage for it.
  2. That's not true. There are many videos on youtube entitled "Idiots in Cars" and suchlike, which show the situation in North America, where there are far more police patrols on the road than there are in the UK. I suggest that we should start banning the worst offenders from driving for life. If that means they lose their jobs, well, they should have thought of that first.
  3. Surely the answer's obvious: extend the bunker and put a radial truck under it, and you have the GWR's second Pacific.
  4. Yet another one was the Bachmann 2EPB in blue livery which had the coach numbers interchanged between the coaches.
  5. With just the periscope sticking out of the water. (I'll get my coat.)
  6. Maybe someone will come up with a magnetic switch on a circuit board that will fit into a decoder socket, which ought to be cheaper than a decoder, and will fit into other coaching stock that are DCC-ready.
  7. It's a shame there aren't any pictures, or even diagrams, of the individual items.
  8. I remember the stench of Seccotine.
  9. Talking of SECR 4-4-0s, who wants a G class? https://www.cdc-design.net/gnosr-vf-classsecr-g-class-4-4-0.html
  10. Have you thought about using a Peco Loco-Lift for moving locos from one end of the train to the other in the fiddle-yard? It makes railing locos easy, and it keeps your fingers off the locos.
  11. Wouldn't it be better with bigger bogie wheels, maybe the same size as those on the pont truck? But I think a 2-10-2 would look better, you know, for all those iron ore trains up to Ebbw Vale.
  12. If you're going to muck about with the original, I'd prefer a 2-10-0T.
  13. Can't you put the second headgear on the scenic backdrop?
  14. Could you use a transparent rectangle of acrylic or other plastic to support the end of it?
  15. It should be 2-D-2: this wheel arrangement type counts axles, not wheels, and the "o" in "Do" means each axle has its own motor, which it clearly doesn't with the Fell. Apart from that, there's not much wrong with what you said
  16. The coaches in the video look as if they've got elliptical wheels. I would have thought Peco could find some better than that for a publicity film.
  17. Is it right that two different locos have the same item number? That would seem to be a tad confusing, if you ask me.
  18. Where can you get a model of a 141TB in either scale?
  19. I am trying to print the template and I get 404 Page not found for https://www.britishfinescale.com/v/vspfiles/pdftemplates/00-SF/Standard/B7/00-SF_B7_TEMPLATE_A3.pdf
  20. What's the use of that driving ban; one of the things he was charged with was driving while disqualified.
  21. I'm trying to open the latest BRM, but I'm having no luck. So I tried to open last month's copy, which I had no trouble opening and I couldn't open that either. The message I got says "These pages are available to subscribers only". I was under the impression that Gold members are subscribers. What am I doing wrong?
