why did they advertise it as having etched grills and detailing parts if it doesn't have them?
i know its a fair price for a new old model but seems a bit misleading.
anyway im getting two of them - it just seems like they described it as an upgrade on previous releases which is not correct.

My guess is the PTA/JTA wagon as it can go with the class 59.
Also a new class 37 based on the Accurascale drawings and design - although maybe too soon as they haven't delivered on this in OO yet. The Farish one is not bad at all but no separate light control or speaker - and no 37/6 varient.
Anyway i am usually wrong but thought I'd join in with some guesses...

thanks nigel i very much appreciate your help!
its working fine now, i set the deceleration rate to max value 31 and acceleration to 15.
ive learnt a lot about dcc programming from my dcc uncoupling shuffle loco saga a few months back, and now this one with the fans...
cheers
tim
thanks for the replies!
nigel - what you wrote actually made sense. you should run courses on dcc programming!
the fan is aux 7
i set the mode to fan - (it was cv 323 to 23) not sure that makes much difference really.
i then changed the speed (cv 326 to 8). it was set to 31 i think it was. 8 seems much better - although not an even spin rate, but anyway better than superfast.
next i need to sort out the fan acceleration and deceleration rate. i presume these are special function cv1 and cv2 relating to aux 7?
cheers

hi everyone
f9 controls the cooling fans. its just on or off.
i want to adjust the speed of the fans and have a more gradual start and stop to them.
i am using an esu lokpilot 5 plux22 decoder and its in a ree modeles sncf bb67400.
i have been reading the esu decoder manual but none the wiser.
any ideas on this please?
its obvs not critical but would look better if i could adjust it.
cheers
tim
thanks everyone!
i'll try that later on and wiggle it down a bit more to see if it works...
not great socket design in the loco imo seems the board the pins need to go through is quite thick...
cheers
tim
thanks for the quick replies
left is the zimo plux 22
right is the blanking chip
i'll have to contact ree modeles to find out what decoder i need. i just assumed any plux22 would fit but something is out in terms of the standards it seems.
cheers

hi everyone
can someone suggest a plux22 decoder with long pins please?
i have a dc ree models sncf bb 67400. it has a plux 22 socket in it. i bought a zimo plux22 decoder (mx637) however the pins are too short!
the blanking plug has pins approx 0.5cm long. the zimo pins are shorter and so dont make good contact with the socket and the result is that power is fleeting.
any suggestions for a suitable decoder to buy would be much appreciated!
many thanks

hi
i look forward to seeing the lineas livery traxx on your layout soon then!
mehano are releasing new models (vossloh g1000) so are you sure they have gone bust?
i hope someone makes a better sncb class 77 one day with metal handrails and separate light controls.
cheers

i have looked at quite a few pictures online and saw 08s, 09s, 33s, 37s and others.
i wonder which loco wore the livery in service the longest?
i can post the list of locos that wore the livery here when the old magazine arrives!
tim
hi
does anyone have links to information about which locos carried the all over grey livery?
what year was the livery first introduced? was it about 1989??
cheers
