I know this will be a crushing disappointment to the many coachloads of you winging your way from all 4 corners of the globe to tomorrows wing-ding, but sadly Victoria will not now be appearing due to technical issues'. In other words, I haven't been able to prepare a shunter in time for pilot duties, which is an integral part of things. Having operated at Glasgow for the best part of 2 days without a working shunter, I know it wouldnt be up to much so I've told Malc that Victoria will be staying at home. However, all is not lost as the small but perfectly formed Canons Lane scrapyard will be appearing instead. Slightly smaller than Victoria but just as interesting and though - provoking. Simple Wayne, the point on the left becomes a 3 way point and the point on the right becomes the other part of the crossover. Do away with the kickback road where the PCAs are (would there be a kickback road so close to the end on a spur like that-discuss?), so you basicall have 2 sidings and the run round spur. I think some people need to loosen up.......The initial comment from Rangers was not criticism merely a witty reflection on Steves layout.....And I can't see any criticism of Steve layout from Rangers or indeed any other source John....one observation, and I have made this known to some members of the organiising team, is the lack of micro layouts present apart from the small Highland Railway shed- something I know from experience does capture the imagination of some of the public..........
