    Class 50 50027 waits patiently as ropley will start to revive its new controls and fiddle yards as of tomorrow it's going to be a painful project but will allow better operating

    OO gauge railway project ropley showing its work in progress head shunt where locos are stored awaiting restoration work to commence

    Work has been done on the head shunt line ready for finishing off, just rail painting left. 33208 (to be) poses at the front of the lineup of locos awaiting attention. It looks like there has been a few locos moved out judging by how far down the siding this photo has been taken. Work will now start on the running line adding details and making it look more authentic. the front hillside will recieve some more scenic detail too. Chris

    Ropley head shunt is now finally taking shape just the other embankment to go then trees to add I have even added all the clutter on the railway lines looking good if I do say so myself. What colours do people use on the rails as I would like to make them look realistic. Chris

    Got some more time in and completed the back hedgerow pictures to follow

    I have manged to find a few hours to lay the ballast for the two lines on the headshunt boards now i need to find some time later in the week for the hills backscene and hedges not to mention more trees :scratchhead:lets see how well it dries. this is only the first coat I will add a second to make sure no scenery goes for a walk Chris

    Recently latest ramblings have focused on Ropley's extension to include the headshunt. in order for this to happen my main focus has been creating the many locos living in the siding awaiting there turn for overhaul although as the pictures show some locos are already undergoing restoration minus parts etc

    Ropley is attending the mhr spring gala where I hope to have built in basic the new 6ft addition to the line beggarwood lane is also out next week at Newbury showing my progress on the town scene I just need to brace transfers for all locos now so they can. BE weathered and signed off too many projects too little time!

    So ropley hasn't had too much done recently due to other items to address but now I have some spare time the ball has started rolling again time to get some half done projects completed as well as start the new layout in the pipeline
