We are pleased to announce that from 31st March, KS Laser Designs will merge with Intentio. Intentio has been trading since 2014 and has in that time developed a reputation for a high quality range of lasercut kits and in particular bespoke commissions. The new owners are looking forward to bringing their wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry to developing and expanding the current KS Laser Designs range while maintaining quality and competitiveness. The website and products will continue and we look forward to developing the range along side Intentio. www.kslaserdesigns.com

Verwood, Dorset - 3D Printed LSWR Type 1 Signal Box
BrushType4 replied to Steve Smith's topic in Modelling real locations
Interesting. A good idea to mix 3d printing with laser cutting. The best of both. My version of LSWR was fully laser cut though. -
Cracking job on the weighbridge office build. Just a Pro Tip, gently rub the corners with fine sandpaper before painting. That makes sure the bricks are squared off nicely.

I've got a drawing of that. Let me dig it out. -
Always happy to help

I should be able to make Cressing a bit smaller. It will be a nice little project especially as its a dinky station already!

I think if you’re not handy in carpentry then it’s a really good investment to buy in baseboards. Tim Horn are in my opinion the best. It may feel like money spent that you’d rather spend on rolling stock but a good baseboard is the foundation to your whole layout and you’ll regret for a long time a bad baseboard. If money is tight and hey, it is for most of us, then ready built baseboards are usually modular so you can add more later on. As others have said, for the landscape, there are lots of free information on the web and much of it on RMweb. Good luck. PS nothing wrong with metric measurements!

Nice job on the Building! -
Hi, I'm the owner of Intentio so I should make that clear! I do have a GWR station and Goods Shed in the range as well various other GWR buildings. The station and Goods Shed are out of production at the moment while I'm concentrating on 4mm versions. They will be back and improved very soon.

You've made a really nice job of that. Sorry to hear that some of the parts were missing/poor fitting. I'll double check the kits to make sure a manufacturing error hasn't crept in.

Mol's MSC Layout: "The Boysnope Bump"
BrushType4 replied to Mol_PMB's topic in UK Standard Gauge Industrial Modelling
Those look really good. The concrete render particularly so. -
Ideally a dxf file from a CAD but understanding that not everyone has access or the skills for CAD, a pen and paper drawing with either scale dimensions or actual dimensions will work.
-
I also supply lasercut 4mm windows and I will produce bespoke sizes and designs quite reasonably priced if you need.
-
Thanks Clive, eventually all the 7mm kits will be available in 4mm. Just working through but time is very limited just now.
