  5. I have just picked up one off an auction site for under £40. The model is 31-450d late crest 41324 it looks like it has never been run and the detailing pack is complete in its plastic bag. Regards Mark

  15. I'm looking for Late 50's Vehicles to populate my layout set in Rural Oxfordshire. So far i have a Bristol L6B Bus in Thames Valley livery and a Austin A-35 plus a MG A. All of these are made by different manufactures EFE, Pocketbond and Oxford diecast. Can anyone recommend a few more cars of this era and a suitable local coal merchants lorry.   17. I think it was all due to Hornby pulling out of the department stores. My local department store Daniel's of Windsor closed the modelling and model railway department just after the new year, as did Boswell' s of Oxford. Regards Mark
  18. Yes i have seen photos of this practice on the Marlow Donkey. I have only read that they were used on the line and rarely at that. Very true there can't of been many 2021s left in service by then. Regards Mark
  19. From what i have read 14xx loco's were rarely used for shunting due to there screw reverse gear on the Watlington branch line. Regards Mark

  21. The combi controller is basically the same as a W but with a seperate 16v AC accessories out put and no walkabout lead. I did just that and confirmed it with Hatton's
  22. Has anyone used a Gaugemaster combi controller with the Hattons 14xx yet? And is it ok with the coreless motor. Regards Mark
