Heres Oldham owner Frank Rothwell inspecting the concrete on the car park he had laid himself that morning before our away friendly at southport on returning from the game .proper chairman not afraid to get his hands dirty

A very sad site to see Roots Hall Southend looking in an almost abandoned state less than a month before the start of the season .14 professionals left at the club players and staff going unpaid for months under a transfer embargo and meglomainiac owner just got a 48 day exstention on the latest winding up order .do hope they survive no set of fans deserve to lose thier club due to bad owners

Unusual reasons for delays...
peanuts replied to Nick C's topic in UK Prototype Discussions (not questions!)
Remember one summers evening perusing the west Yorkshire delays screen for the day on the trust machine .there were many and myriad delays including many trespass incidents where a group of youths would be upto no good inside the boundary fence .many of these incidents had a footnote of btp unable to attend local mom requested this ran throughout the day untill around 4pm when the following entry was noted . Driver of 2xxx reports on departing Brighouse two young ladies topless sunbathing on the embankment after the station .footnote read Btp inspector and local oncall SM enroute will update on arrival .brought a rye smile -
Also of note in Fords model line ups of the time was the sporty SI models being offered across the all models other than the KA ? One wonders why ?

Was on stalybridge station to collect someone whilst waiting two of the express sets passed through non stop one in each direction .they were visibly much faster through the platforms and through the junction than prior to the remodeling . -
