  1. A few Triang Hornby locos, an old 80s Hornby hst, a bunch of Hornby 0-4-0s and a Hornby railway's pannier.
  2. If I run old model trains that have the old large flange wheels, would I encounter the problem of wheels riding on the chairs on Kato unitrack as they do on Code 75 Track? HO Kato Unitrack is Code 83, That's why I'm wondering.
  3. Also theres no signs of it coming soon nor that there making progress on it.
  4. The old Bluerail boards are no longer available, the blueraildcc is the only current dcc board. Yet the support for bluerail dcc is still not available on android. And it doesn't look like there making only progress to make it android compatible.
  5. Hopefully they take British outline sound into consideration. I suspect only American outline sound will be supported.
  6. i didn't think you were rude. Im a little thick. I just got a little confused because i didn't know if it meant just direct motor control blue rail or if it applied to bluerail and dcc Sound too. For me if it allows multiple train operation on Analogue that is a big plus. I use dcc but might refer this to a freind who has analogue, i feel like compared to the price of somethings in the model railway hobby, 100$ isn't the cheapest but its not too bad.
  7. But can it run Multiple trains, or bluerail fitted trains that also has sound decoders on a DC powered layout. Or do those still require a dcc powered track.
  8. Just stumbled across this discussion while browsing. I have a simple question, if I have a bluerail board fitted to a locomotive with a DCC sound chip attached, does it require DCC power to the track still? Or can it run on DC. I assume even with blue rail running multiple blue rail fitted trains on a DC power supply is not possible.
  9. In a building a little HO scale Norwegian themed micro layout, it's for a realism contest and so I've decided to take the courageous plunge into electro frog points, but all the videos I've seen about live frog installation are for DCC, do live frog points require any wiring or slight modification like they do on DCC or can DC Power run them straight out the box. I have chosen analogue for this project as DCC for such a small single-track layout is kind of a waste.
  10. Outside the UK most people tend to collect European HO and American HO and N, so I suspect the British market is relatively small, bad news for anyone living outside the UK (Like me) who want to model British outline as hobby stores don't see a need to stock it. It's especially a problem when you live in a country with high Customs duty and package theft.
  11. I find Code 100 perfectly good, and my old wheels work well on it, for me changing wheels Is just another needless cost. Everyone has there own opinion on track but for me in my circumstances is just another needless cost.
  12. Exactly, I'm into Modern era, so Bullhead is useless to me.
  13. Im not a fan of code 75 because since 00 track is under scale anyway I don't see the point of using code 75 and having to change old stock wheels for only a little bit more realism.
  14. I have seen this product before and I believe it is a brilliant track system, but since it's code 83 I'm worried that like code 75 old stock won't run on it, Plus it sits really high of the board so it doesn't look so good with scenery, which is where I plan to make up for having unrealistic track geometry.
  15. As much as I would love to use Flextrack, I am heavily reliant on 3rd and 2nd radius curves and apparently flex track can't be bent that far without compromising it's structual integrity.
  16. But it's easy to bend around my small layout. I have been told Flexi Can't be used on a 6x6. I assume you wouldn't tell the difference if the Setrack is connected to the streamline track.
  17. After careful thought I've decided to user Setrack over Flextrack simple because my layout is to small for PECO Flextrack. I am considering PECO Setrack, but I want to know what several things. 1. Is it reliable 2. Is it durable 3. Is it generally value for money. Any advice and opinions are welcome.
  18. Thanks for the Compliment and the Advice. I like to ask question because i dont want my first proper layout to be a big disaster
  19. I have a basic trackmat layout but I eventually want to move on to something larger using peco Flex track, after watching Everard junction videos its made me want to increase the spacing of sleepers. However as a total newbie to flex track i am really nervous to Modify shiny brand new flexitrack as im scared i break it, what is the best way and least risky way of sleeper spacing for someone new to this.
  20. I plan on using a controller that plugs into JMRI.
  21. I just like the idea of using loconet accessory decoders and Lnet Accessories. I also like Lnet servers and stuff because I'm a Computer wizz.
  22. So if i sound a two tone horn on the system it will stay sounding until i turn it off?
