I am hoping for help to identify the coaches in the photo, from the Falmouth Station. My belief is the the centre coach is an E6, 7 or 9, and the outer coaches are the E49 and E50.

Tintern Building plans/drawings
stevel replied to kandc_au's topic in GWR Rolling Stock: model and prototype
Hi Khris this is probably your best bet, note the station and signalbox are still there as a vsitor centre. Ian Pope, Bob How and Paul Karau, An Illustrated History of the Severn and Wye Railway: volume one, Wild Swan Publications, Upper Bucklebury, 1983, ISBN 0 906 867 17 7 Stephen -
that's weird, because the blog entry will open from the blog page.

but how is it being deleted, no other blog notification does this. this has happened ever since I started to follow Mikkel's blog.

I forgot to follow this question when I posted it, and missed your reply, but it has happened again today. Here is the link https://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blogs/entry/25362-flush/&showDeleted=1

Hi Jeff, love the trees, they sit very well with the overall scene, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I hadn't noticed the wire fence before it pointed either.

I'm hoping some one here cold help point out to me, where I am going wrong. I am have issues getting the panels the right depth for the Tumble home on a GWR coach. the first image is what I get if using the method Carl shows on, 3D Drawing for Model Railways You tube. the second is when using the intersect command, when the paneling ribs show but the end of the coach dissapears.

Hi Jeff You have the same vision for your layout as I do, to see trains running through the country side. I am hoping to build a new workshop this year, for woodworking, with a loft above to finally build what has been in my head, for the last 20 plus years. So i find your layout very inspirational, and your humour. regards Stephen -

Hi Jeff thanks for the link, i think this will work well, i previously tried the liquid plastic method of sprue melted in MEK, which works fine for other projects, but not so well for these sheets. Steve -

Hi Jeff do you have a post, showing how you've hidden the joints of the Wills sheets, I have never been happy with my efforts, but this looks fabulous. -

Drawing and printing GWR Edwardian rolling stock
stevel replied to stevel's topic in 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, CAD & CNC
thanks for your reply, I see I was missing a step, which was why the rivets were ending up in some weird places. I will give this a go let you know how it goes. -
Now I am retired, I am trying to teaching myself Fusion 360. But I am hitting a road block, as to how to draw rivets on saddle tanks, or firebox surfaces, I want to print some more obscure GWR Dean era engines that are not available as kits. variations of the 3521 class as used on the Falmouth branch circa 1907, is what I am aiming for in three different boiler configurations.

More 3d printed architecture
stevel replied to Neil P's topic in 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, CAD & CNC
I am following the same path. Learning Fusion 360 and hoping to print the buildings and rolling stock required. Was thinking of using Blender for the buildings and seeing your results, convinces me to go that route. -

we are surrounded by fires, but got rain a few days ago, and the sky has been clear for a couple of days, stayed indoors as much as possible. Hope you get some rain ASAP, are you getting layers of ash on everything like we had here. -

how are things in your neck of the woods, with the fires, have you had any rain lately. When i got my wagon stock out of long term storage, all the wheels had turn to rust and mice had chewed them up and made nests in them.
