  1. Funny I thought the same thing especially with the Rapido 16xx on the way. A bit leftfield would be a 517, a 36xx 2-4-2T or a 2221 Tank.
  2. Would the gravel have that many foreign objects in an NR site? Plenty of brick chips and other stones in there.
  3. We cannot or should that be cannae see his face, he may have a tissue in one hand against his nostril and a camera in the other. If he kept going in a straight line south from Bromley, eventually he would arrive back at Bromley but have seen many exotic and less than exotic locations and trains on the way.
  4. I think I am going to withdraw from this topic, it started nobly enough but we're now arguing over the rules of Strictly come Dancing (the celeb version) and really this is nothing to with hate or hate speech. I know I am as guilty as others to bring it to this level, so I apologise.
  5. He may be stood on something produced in the south, doesn't mean it is still in the south now.
  6. And in a professional sporting competition I would agree, but Strictly is entertainment just like Dancing on Ice
  7. Coming back to countering hate, does the matter of same sex couples: Harm me - no Hurt me - no Impact me detrimentally - no It therefore does not matter if there are same sex couples on a program like Strictly, this is not international sports it is entertainment.
  8. Going back to my point, there is nothing wrong in same sex couples dancing on Strictly, why should it matter.
  9. And the odd thing being that if you were in a gay club then you would expect to see same sex couples dancing together, so why can this be wrong for a program like Strictly.
  10. The UK pre-qualifier series for Jeux was Its a knockout and it was totally Butlins in it's approach, but once the European series got underway each year with the giants it was amazing. Maybe it could replace the block voting European Song Contest which I think has sadly run it's course.
  11. I think we only have to look at the event in France yesterday to see how hate needs to be countered and also perhaps how different opinions based on background can result in terrible outcomes. We have a history teacher attempting to look at free speech end up dead for showing an image. Now we don't know his motivations for his action, whether malicious, malign or simply foolhardy given the possible outcomes but on the opposing side you probably got three responses - some simply ignored it, some complained and some were outraged, one enough to murder another human and end up dead himself.
  12. That did cross my mind, split the universe as it were, there would be a market for that I am sure. I always expected Clara to end up with a spin off Dr Who series when she went up in the diner.
  13. Minutes away from my first proper moderated exam in something like 30 years.

Sweaty palms and I have to do this with said moderator watching my (and possibly only my) every move remotely on camera whilst I operate their machine remotely to write my answers.

I am sure it was more fun doing O levels

Just couldn't complete a UML Class diagram - needed another 5 minutes but I've submitted something for that and fully answered (I hope) the other questions.

Time flies when you're under pressure.

I am pretty confident I've done enough to pass.

Some young lady, don't know if her job just involves watching one person at a time or if she multi-tasks, but what a job staring at someone feverishly tapping away at a keyboard for an hour or more.

  14. Depends who film making companies see as the future audience of their output - if it is moving towards a woke female generation then a female Bond would appeal directly to that audience and make a lot of money.
  15. Kernow had some cheap EPBs in Green on offer, come on Clive, you know you want to - some sort of extended Newcastle third rail, down the East Coast, through York, Normanton, Barnsley and into Sheffield Exchange.
  16. Women can be womanisers as much as men can, women can also bed men with abandon but culturally it has always been that a male womaniser extols positive labels whereas a woman doing the same is a jezebal, a harlot or other more inappropriate for this forum slang. Women spies are not uncommon neither are women who are fully capable of killing another person. Bond is a character no different from any other, can be played by any race or sex, it is afterall the world in which Bond exists that is key to the success of the film and franchise.
  17. There was something similar on Facebook recently and it concurred with KP Nuts trains
  18. It will be ready when it is ready, no point trying to force something, you'll only end up being dissatisfied with the end result. I enjoy watching your layouts develop.
  19. Hattons probably wouldn't need to - they have a network of retailers who have sold other product they produced and not everyone is going to want N gauge Garratts to sell.
  20. Accurascale are quite happy in the OO and O scales - even mentioned in the latest note in this thread from Fran. Working with RevolutioN allows N gauge modellers access to some interesting models that would never see the light of day without them collaborating. Doesn't mean everything RevolutioN do in N will be done by Accurascale or vice versa.
