Having spent yesterday supporting the Deltic Borderer rail tour, today 67015 was on another rail tour, the Maybach Yorky, running as 1Z26 Derby - York powered by D1015 with the Class 67 bringing up the rear. -
Class 800 - Updates

Testing is currently taking place most nights but not under possesion, tonight 5X08 is running Old Dalby - Peterborough - Newark -Huntingdon - Newark - Old Dalby and will be running alongside freight and Mail workings. Possession working was carried out late last summer between Peterborough and Grantham. -

Apologies for the poor quality, but caught the 800 test set running through Newark last night as 5X08 Old Dalby - Darlington. It appeared to be very quiet compared to the 225 sets. -

Today at Clay Cross North, 37608 dragging 86213, 89702, 86701 and 86235, working as 0Z86 Leicester - Barrow Hill, the first stage of the Electrics journey to Bulgaria. -

Early one this morning at Sutton Parkway, 6X08 March - Thoresby Colliery Junction (High Marnham Test track), 66550 heading a very interesting consist, comprising of just about every type of engineering wagon on the Network including a mini HOBC set with 66545 bringing up the rear. -
Unpacked my wagons this morning, they have to be one of the best produced wagons in recent times, straight out of the box and run a treat. Hats off to Dapol.

Unusual passenger charter today on my local line, 66059 (one of the original Lickey Banker allocated 66's) heading 1Z36 Pathfinder Charter from Eastleigh to Eggborough Power Station, captured at Sutton Parkway. 60059 bringing up the rear of the Charter. -

One from today at Clay Cross South, 6O01 Doncaster Decoy - Hinksey Sidings powered by 66144, a very short Ballast working, consisting of only 10 wagons. -

Today at Clay Cross North Junction. 66702 working 6M01 Tinsley - Bardon Hill empties. 66729 on 6M73 Doncaster - Toton daily engineers train Included in the consist of 6M73 where 6 MXA Lobsters. 66013 running as 4M11 Washwood Heath - Peak Forest using HTA's on stone traffic. -

Amidst all the excitement yesterday, did anyone notice the Thunderbird following the Scotsman, reminded me of a Morris Marina shadowing a Top Gear challenge. -

Lucky and managed to catch her three times this morning. First at Botany Bay Then in full steam heading up Gamston Bank. Finally at Cromwell LC. It was amazing how many people where out, there must have been easily 75 at Gamston Bank, even a guy with a drone.- 765 replies
