  1. I've just watched a vid that showed a DCR class 56 with a train of bogie wagons that I think said 'Lynch' on the side but I could not be sure. Would anyone have any info' on said wagons, I'm not sure if they were carrying scrap or some kind of waste.

As always any help is very welcome

  2. In fairness, Hatton's posted photos publicly and invited feedback.  That's what discussion forums are for.  Surely it's better that everyone speaks now, that way I'm sure Hatton's can review the comments and decide what amendments (if any) they are going to pursue.

The alternative?  Everyone say nowt, empty forum, sit back and wait until the model is released before saying, "Oh, this and that isn't right, why didn't you do it this/that way Mr Hatton's...?"  :)

I agree its best to give feedback I just wonder when do they say "that's as good as we can make it" plus I feel really sorry for the people who have to do the next one...about this paper?

Here is a link for anyone without access to Facebook. (With dates and prices)

Remeber 68026 is also a TPE allocated machine and once mk5 sets begin running it won’t be seen on any other traffic types.

The photo is too lo-res to see, but terms of detail differences all of 68019-032 have a dot matrix destination display inside the cab and a new square multiple working connector to talk to the DVT and open doors etc.. Both are probably easily achievable with plasticard.

I better get on with doing my mk5s then...

Edit: The Models in the photos don’t even have buffers yet so maybe it’s a bit unfair of me to start looking for individual detail differences.

just wondering but has anyone said anything about mk5's? :mail: and a DVT of course.

  4. I checked 66596 today the battery switch is as per all the others so it was just that small batch of locomotives that were different

I saw one the other day it had a news paper in the cab it may have been the 'Sun' not sure, but can we have a 66 like that...sorry its the heat :senile:

  5. I don't think it's anything to do with Trump, this is a trend that has been going on for a while and is related to ordinary economics rather than the maschinations of the current POTUS. In all the news we get about the travails of the UK train suppliers it sometimes gets forgotten that train suppliers in other countries also have their problems. If anything our bunch have had a less fraught 20 years than the European HO sector for example.

Everything is to do with Trump it said so on the TV :senile:

  6. My Little Peckett....

    HAS ARRIVED!

Here, it is pretending to be the first loco belonging to an early Heritage railway.

"My Little Peckett".  Hmmmm.  Perhaps Hornby ought to do one in Pink. With sparkles.

yes then it can run with everyone's little blue P class :senile:

  7. Sorry if I've asked this before or if I'm asking in the wrong place, but I'm detailing a number of Parkside coal/mineral wagons the photos I'm using show some with a yellow triangle on the side I should know this but for the life of me I can not remember what its for. So a little help please.
