So when is the next announcement due?
-
After 26 pages I hope whoever wins gets a great prize
-
not sure what scale this fine model is but I have two 1/72 scale kits ready to start, problem is as soon as I open the box Bachmann will bring a RTR one out
-
They should do a Barclay in the 'Bluebell' livery I'm sure that would sell well the P class did
-
I just hope its something for the Southern modeller for a change...why are you all looking at me
-
There was a time just after the postage world went mad and the courier dark age started that the driver would take a photo of your door to prove he'd been...good times
-
It's odd really only days ago everyone loved Hatton's for posting out Barclay's and P class loco's all over the place
-
I can only speak as I find but I've never had a problem with Hatton's, it only takes one little slip in the postage chain to slow things down.
-
You just have.......
Omitting it in your post has now led to it mentioned numerous times
I get paid by the word
-
what is e-@@@ ? If you mean e-bay then why not say so?
I feel no need to advertise e-bay
-
Without wanting to start up anything like the shouting match that the now locked thread turned into, but looking on e-@@@ a box of 10 Slater 20 ton hopper kits have sold for £190. So there is a need for them out there.
FYI a 20t hopper kit was what I paid coopercraft for
-
So is the Bluebell P class the most photographed loco ever made or do's it just seem like it?

Its pretty bad. There is a cure sometimes known as Postman's knock...
There is a better game then 'postman's knock' its called 'find the shipping container'

I once saw a unpacking video from the States, as he opened the box he smiled and said " I did open this one earlier in case there was a problem" I think I may have missed the point.

Hi I've just picked up a RAPIDO Dash 8m, it's in the new-ish livery with CN's web page on the side. Anyway a photo of the loco after its repaint shows it fitted with a red light next to the ditch light stand. I think I've seen it on other newer locos but I'm not to sure what its for, lastly will I need to make my own or would I be able to buy one?
As always any help is very welcome
-
Perhaps trump could use them as His "WALL"
Don't give him idea's

That is so sad
The date of the vid is 2017 and looking at the line up they seem to be older Dash 8's and SD60's I think UP keep their AC stock for the coal trains now
-
3 page's and your all wrong its a....................in blue
-
This seems to sum it UP well http://utahrails.net/up/up-wwd.php
There is even a list of loco's seen with the branding.
Thank you both for the info' the loco I was looking for was on the list Dash C40-8CW number 9411 which really was a C41 but no one seems to call them that...odd
-
Hi in need of a little help please, would anyone know when UP started to use the slogan "we will deliver" on the side of a number of loco's?

Hi All,
I recently took delivery of one of the second run of this model.
Mine is a C&NW in 'as delivered' "old yellow" or "Stagecoach" yellow, in the 'Rivet Counter' series, fitted with a Loksound decoder.
I do like the class lights that change colour with multiple presses of F5.
Correct northwestern style nose mounted 'gong' bell.
Great detail on the trucks and that detailed knuckle is metal.
Nice fans.
I was expecting better detail on the horns though. Strangely, the number boards only seem to light up when the sound is on.
The roof is everything you would expect.
Really? A sweeping brush fitted to the nose! F7 sets the warning flasher going.
Looks every inch a northwestern SD40-2 to me.
The paintwork and lettering detail is very fine indeed - there is nothing to do but add weathering.
I've now got quite a few C&NW SD40-2's from Athearn, Kato, Broadway, this is as smooth running as a Kato, better sounding than Broadway and exquisitely detailed. I'd say that Scaletrains.com have indeed made the definitive classic American loco. I'm very pleased with it, it's a heavy model too so I will have no haulage problems on anything I can run it on.
I'm rubbish at shooting videos but here's my effort at demonstrating it;
Cheers,
John.
I was looking over your loco again and I wondered if you knew of anybody who makes little add on parts like the sweeping brush, I have two CNW locos that need them

the UK narration is full of the faux drama crap. I may have to try and find it via VPN as the UK narration is getting on my t*ts.
I was only pulling your leg about the commentator but don't you think 'getting on my t*ts' is a little strong?
-
It's coming up to 5 weeks now I'm just taping it as Mon is club night, one major plus point is you can understand what the commentator is saying
