    I agree with the atmospheric nature of clouds but given most exhibitions are in winter when plenty of clouds outside a lovely blue sky with the odd light wispy cloud is much more happy thing to be looking at whilst appreciating a great layout like this.

    I couldn’t find a feed that showed photos of track works in progress. What triggered this thought was the track replacement currently being done in Plymouth between laira junction and Tavistock junction. throughout rmweb there’s feeds for locos and wagons but not for them in track work situations. Thought it would be cool to have one. So here it is. I’ll upload some pictures I took today to start things going.

    Love the loader. The idea is sheer genius. Keep up the great modelling

    Could the track on the lift out section be aligned to allow a double track. You could keep the branch going off scene but have set of points by the tunnel entrance to continue the double track on and round onto and past the lift out section. By the looks of the lift out section photo you’ve got two tracks perfectly aligned on the fixed section to allow it.
