  1. Hi Phil, I used to work on the Vestry estate at Otford in the late sixties for a company that made the Grant projector, the most useful aid that a art dept could have. I used to drive round the lovely pond that formed the roundabout in the middle of the village on my way to London to deliver that days batch of projectors and remember when the bridge was washed out by the river darent and a Bailey bridge was put in its place. All the best Adrian.
  2. Hi Shaun, six of chips and a piece of rock please, and can I have a bottle of Tizer as well thank you. Ps a great bit of modelling. All the best Adrian.
  3. Back gardens a good source of food for the family. The outside toilet which was a nice jaunt on a dark and wet night for the brave.
  4. Certain shops used to have a orange film that used to roll down and cover the inside of the window to filter out the suns rays and to stop fading of the goods in the windows, i have never seen this modelled.
  5. Following on from Phil and Mrwolf's excellent pictures, a mobile place of worship and a chapel.
  6. Hi, and a big thank you to you all, for getting the ball rolling with your wonderful images, when these buildings are gone or left to fall into decrepitude by so called developers/money grabbing gits they are lost to us for ever, they also serve as great bits of detail and reference, so please keep them coming. All the best Adrian.
  7. How the face of high street shops have changed and when people lived above the shop. Some old shop fronts and interiors.
  8. Small coal office and weighbridge, I wonder if part of the building would have been used for the horse.
  9. Hi, and thank you for visiting this thread, please feel free to add any pictures that you think that might give me and others some inspiration or detail to projects. Due to the Great Image Theft of 2022 you will find many gaps in the first 3 pages some of which had been posted by other RMweb members, I have deleted many pages of my own which had text but the images had gone which then didn't make any sense, I had no backup of these images, so going forward I will start adding more pictures as and when I take them. I hope these images will be of use or just interesting to look at. All the best Adrian.
  10. Hi Shaun, maybe a chemists with some of those giant bottles of coloured water in the window, or a fish and chip shop. All the best to you and Mrs Squatch for the New Year Adrian.
