    Hornby 2 BIL

Oops, that'll teach me to pay more attention! Guess I'll have to wait for the late 1980s livery with full yellow ends or justify using a really beaten-up blue version. I'll leave the picture of 014 in place but edit the comment.

    Hornby 2 BIL

Thought this was converted from a 2-BIL but has been pointed out below it was converted from a 4-SUB. I'll leave the picture up as it's of interest anyway: kent - de-icer 014 gillingham 76 JL by johnmightycat1, on Flickr Seen at Lovers Walk, Brighton here: http://www.transport...ages/2BIL-1.htm Edited to correct picture information.

Further to this, from what I've seen on the Internet, the NRM 2-BIL appears to be in BR(S) green, but the 80s 2-BIL seems to be in olive green. So yellow ends on the NRM edition wouldn't work for the 1980s livery.

I was hoping the NRM one would be done with yellow ends. A 2-BIL doesn't really fit into Bromley North, but a battered blue one on its last legs or one painted in the late 80s green livery could certainly be given a reason to be there. Very clear picture of the 80s livery here: http://www.hondawand...hfield_1987.htm Either way, I'm very pleased to see another SR EMU being made and the pictures so far show it to be of good quality.
