Well all the above mentioned will be added to the town scene when i get round to it.

I had thought about a dock scene but i dont think my modelling skills can reach that height.

No i have no idea what im going to build around that lower section mate. i have been thinking and planning that side of the layout for so long now and i still have no idea. do you have any ideas as it is always good to consult with others.

I cannot see Hornby retooling this loco anytime soon or even at all to be honest as Hornby have a history of never fulfilling the models promised in all their catalogs year on year. I think we are still waiting for models dating back ten years and have also slipped further and further behind the rest of the manufactures and i just cannot see them catching up. Although you never know a new class 91 and a few others from the past may well kick start their redemption. All i can say is...Hornby you need to listen to what your consumers are asking for otherwise there will never be a road back to the top.

Hi Richard You have good download speed....I have 150 meg broadband with virgin but I only ever get at most 30-40 meg download speed over the WiFi. Hence why it takes me forever to do my videos. I have spoken to virgin so many times about this and they tell me that's just the way it is...I have the feeling they are fobbing me off.

Well i ended taking mine back to the chopper shop as faulty and they replaced it with this big F@#%~R now i can fit both Daves layout as well as my layout. Oh and i have sold the house now too. How much to rent out your back garden dave lol?

Your going to have to fight me for it first mate lol. Dave, what do you use to make your white marker lines on the road surface....are they stickers or painted? they look very nice and crisp and i always have issues getting mine to look right. Terry

Not sure if i can make it work or not. i think the cement works would need to be a lot larger for it to work.

Cheers Graham...yeah a few people have mentioned extending the siding to rejoin the mainline for the cement works and it is a good idea so i am going to take a look at it and see if i can make it work.

I just upload my videos to youtube as normal then which can take an hour or so depending on how many mini videos there are and how long they are. I then use the youtube editor to put them all together but again depending on how long the final video is that can take a good few hours to process. the one i uploaded last night took around six hours from start to finish which is still an age.

This is brilliant stuff as always Dave, are those red brick and white house ready to plant houses or scratch built as i am about to start my town/urban scene and not sure if i want to go down the scratch build route as it will take forever. Terry

I have now decided to add the concrete plant here between the main lines.....it is only roughly put into place as i am not sure how i want it to look. I have been thinking for some time now what to do with this area and i think the concrete yard fits it perfectly. Again there is a lot more work to be done around the area before it actually starts to look right at home. A couple more scenic shots.

Hi all Just a recap on some work i have been doing this weekend. The turners building is now in place and i managed to get the MDF cut to shape to fit the coner but still yet to paint the edges black. I have still got all the finer details to add and some much needed touching up to do on the building itself but i think you all get the picture as to how its starting to look.
