I have just bought the Red Northern one, looks a fantastic piece of kit.
Any rough idea`s when the as built 144`s will be done? One of them is a must for me.
Cheers
Jon
Thanks, I have the Dynamis, but thought this might be a good 2nd set for a separate depot diorama. I did like the idea of it being able to operate DC stuff too.
Looks good value as 37418 fits the bill perfect too.

Answered my own question, this had passed me by !
Can the model`s be collected from the NRM ? It says in stock too.
How does the battery boxes/water tanks come off on a 47/57. I am wanting to swap a pair of loco`s round to get the correct item on each and assumed they just clipped on. The parts leaflet does show it as just been clipped on but this one is not moving at all. Before i get too rough with it, is there an easy way to get them off.
Thanks
Jon
Railfreight Red has been and gone !!!!!!!!!!. Hattons had them in stock the same as the Metal`s and EWS ones, all now gone with no pre-order option. I poped down to my local model shop and someone bought them all this morning before i got there!!> The positive news is Bachmann`s website still shows in stock and Rails have them on order.
I doubt they forgot to but them on, the loco looked appalling by the time it gained its painted name. As it is pristine it makes far more sense to sell it as the TE engine.
You are correct it was unique though.
It was never a plate as such, just a painted Tinsley job.
Not sure if there is a transfer in the box.
I for one am very happy the name isnt on it, looks great as the Thornaby monster it is.
I cant remember ! Its been a while since my Lima 47 has seen the light of day!!Anyway here`s sister 47265 (D1965/47804) showing its boiler port.
