Morning All, Sun woke me up early and the disappeared. Just taken van for new clutch and now the dogs need attention but first a coffee up at mils. Going to see MY team this afternoon but Mum called yesterday to say she wouldn't be coming up due to her knee acting up. Onwards!

Or ‘look out it’s a mystery shopper from head office. Better do things by the book’ Got caught out by a mystery shopper once, only trying to help a customer AND add money to the company coffers. Moral of the story, ‘follow company policy and f*** the customer’s needs’ Think that might be a rant.

Evening All, A relatively busy day here as we left Hovis at mils and went down to Newark to visit Mum and look at motor caravans. Wallet sighed with relief as no purchase was made. Other than phone calls and messages from work nothing else to report. Goodnight

Some really old codgers at my gig, even one with a zimmer frame but having said that the band are celebrating 50years in the business. Any idea who I’ve been to seen, it was a ‘ peach’ of a concert. Bloke on bass is 72.

Afternoon All, Busy few days dealing with what life brings but off to a gig tonight. My favorite band are playing up the M1 in Leeds. Unfortunately I’m going down the M1 to Sheffield.Never mind, my favorite band are playing at a punk fest in Blackpool later in the year which does sound interesting. No pogoing tonight as one foot is swollen and quite painful. Hopefully I’ll come home with my ears ringing and devoid of hearing. Nuff said. good evening, Robert

Clutch needs replacing on Nemo van and cam belt ought to be changed at same time. A lorra , lorra Deltics! And I'm not really going to get the benefit. Its done 105k miles and hard ones at that, probably 50 stop starts a day but only about 30miles per day.

Morning All, Yesterday panned out much as expected. Today I’m going into work as a contractor is due to visit to sort out a drain issue that should have been sorted when the premises were extended two years ago. This issue has caused grief and money, but I bet I’m not going to get recompensed. Van driver called on Friday to say the clutch was slipping on the van so that doesn’t sound good. Better get a move on stuff to do.
