Worth two in a Bush!

I've just seen an advert for some tacky dating show. The young couple were debating whether or not chicken was a bird! Obviously missed that (chicken) nugget at school. Is it any wonder that programs are dumbed down and repeat everything after the advert. Brain and attention span of a gold fish.

From what I've gleaned from other users the wfi cameras can be a bit sketchy when it comes to connectivity. Some are battery powered which seems to defeat the object. I supposed a trip wire, a bell and something akin to mouse trap to catch the fellon would be to old school.

House of Fun - Madness

I've tried a number over the years. Most taste like the un fermented wort you get in a home brew kit. I tried a cider as well. Don't remember then name, but it was in a short stubby bottle. Even half frozen it tasted like gnat's pee. My wife bless her presented me with a bottle of low alcohol wine. Mmmmmm I said as it stripped the enamel from my teeth! Its like low sugar/salt baked beans or reduce salt tomato sauce they don't taste right either. I guess the fermentation process adds something (alcohol) to the taste! If I have to drive its a OJ & lemonade with lots of ice!

Having had my wife's car vandalised over the weekend I'm toying with the idea of home CCTV. Probably something from Screwfix. Has anyone got a system they are happy with? I'm thinking wired with a recorder and access via my mobile. Must be secure. The reason I mention secure is the structural engineer who came to look at our subsidence was talking about home security and he showed me a Russian site that had hacked peoples CCTV, Web/Gaming/Baby cams. Over 5000 cameras looking at property & people in their homes with out them knowing! Thanks Didcot

Thanks for that. I did a trip to Swanley to see if I could find where he lived and worked. The station did strike me as a much later addition and no signal boxes in sight. Being from GW territory I don't know much about the Southern region.

I've just stumbled on to this build. My Great Great Grandfather was a Signalman at Swanley Junction from 1872 to 1911. He lived in the Station Cottages with his family. I think they are still there, but from my understanding the current station is in a different position..... Will be keeping a closer watch in future.
