  1. Think of the liveries.... Virgin XC, Inter-City Executive/Swallow, Anglia Railways, FGW, Blue grey, NSE (fk), Wessex Trains, Blue Pullman, Arriva Trains Wales, etc...
  2. A mk2d to Accurascale standards is a must 👍🏻💯
  3. Well it originated from a 2B and it will be running with 2Bs, so I would say it belongs here! Very admirable work here.. impressive and fills another gap.
  4. Really looking forward to my two class 50s I have on pre order and any future revised livery class 50s. Until then, I will have to make do with my rework of 47708 to haul my WOE set...
  5. Managed to bag another blue grey TSO. They're going fast!!
  6. I came round to the idea of Elgar, IC swallow and two tone green, but no, just no with this one!
  7. @Accurascale Fran That is most welcome news! I already have Royal Oak and Elgar on pre order, but a "revised" 50 is definately a must! Looking forward to that! Melton Works
  8. Who would like to see an Accurascale Hoover in revised NSE livery?
  9. Accurascale have sold out on MK2Cs on preorder, but some retailers still have them, so I would act fast as they seem popular.
  10. Like I said previously, I have painted 20 WCRC coaches including the oddball kitchen/luggage cars in BR Crimson and 2 locos in BR Maroon. The Crimson is a good match to the Accurascale MK2Bs. 12 coaches were for a friend in Yeovil and the other 8 Are with Benjamin Brady and featured at Warley in 2019 on their Weaver Hill Layout.
  11. That's why for now, I have produced my own 2As in Network SouthEast livery. I also have west of England branded 2Cs on preorder. Until Accurascale release a quality MK2A, that will have to be the order of the day. Bachmann 2A body with all the Accurascale MK2b features...
  12. I have watched plenty of YouTube footage and the set that seems to feature alot is a 9 coach rake, which comprises of TSO, TSO, TSO, BFK, TSOT, BFK, TSO, TSO, TSO, predominantly Mk2 A and B, with and without the TSOT, or a TSO missing. This is the set I am modelling. Bachmann 2A bodies on modified Accurascale Interior/chassis, mixed with MK2Bs, Just got to wait for the mk2c TSOT I have on preorder.
  13. These look spot on! Yes lighting makes a difference. I have now been able to compare with previous repaints I have done and Railmatch crimson is near as damn it. Yes looking forward to the MK2C!
  14. Accurascale Mk2a BFK and TSO... yes we need some of these... 👍🏻
  15. Both well needed, but yes a agree with a 2D. Gaping gap in the market!
  16. It seems to sit fairly good on the Accurascale chassis and in the case of the length all good then! (Didn't realise to be fair) Had to take a couple of mm of the nem pocket for close coupling. An Accurascale one would be nice though!
  17. @Accurascale Fran @McC My MK2B coaches have finally arrived! What a credit to you all at Accurascale for producing these fine coaches! Everything has been thought out, detail, too much to mention, not seen on other RTR models. The best part for me though is the interior! These are second to none! Anyway, I had detailed a few Bachmann MK2As, to make a prototypical rake, but to be honest, comparing the two, the MK2a is definately inferior. So the modeller in me came up with a plan.... But of alteration, with the Bachmann body being 4mm too short and resprayed roof/ends, but retains all of the Accurascale features! Hopefully until there is a future release, i will have to make do with my improvised version...
  18. I have personally used railmatch crimson, but yet to compare as waiting on WCRC MK2Bs
  19. Yes ordered 4 NSE MK2b TSO. Saw those NSE ones on Ebay! I know I'm itching to get my hands on them, but worth waiting for these 😊
  20. Looks like Model Railways Direct have some MK2Bs in stock for those of you who begrudge paying inflated prices on Ebay! Patience is a virtue!
  21. And the running numbers 37422 in all 4 corners, rather than the numbers she carried throughout her career. Also ran out of Norwich on the "Short set" for a short time.
  22. Ok I have said this once already, but I would love to see an Accurascale version of this MK2B... we already have an IRM version of a generator car, so why not?...
