Did you resolve this issue? I had the same problem with one of mine that arrived recently , been running them on code 75 bullhead and one of the sandpipes had come loose and was catching on the rail chairs
Yes one of my sand pipes is click, click, click on the sleepers.

Just remember it's not just the rivets , the strapping needs to go to for a welded roof
Smooth roof 😊 now realising I will have to do the same with 324 (099) least it is within the removable roof section.

Proof it is increasingly hard to backdate such specifically detailed models withouy major work and likely a repaint.
That is the thing, these Accurascale models have nothing generic about them. They are all unique. Yes I have to lose some roof rivets on the 109 I converted, but no issue if you dont mind the extra work. Reworked Alycidon into 2012 RSG and the amount of work involved, quarter light windows, position of ETH socket and a can of silver paint didnt sort. Anyway, awaiting x2 402 locos, missed out on 409 so easy conversion there, however the conversation to 424 needing alot of work, adding bodyside window, losing a lamp bracket, oval buffers at one end, square at other etc...

It’s switch on the prodigy advance. That’s what I use. Which leads to another question for Bill and apologies again if it’s a daft one but you’re not using the Prodigy Express are you? If it’s a Prodigy advanced does ‘F11’ display on the screen and stay on the screen?
I have had a 37423 and the flange squeal did not work. I changed some CVs that someone had suggested to operate the taillights as by the function card... and hey presto... F11 suddenly became active! If I find these I will let you know.

37109 has a welded roof, so doesn’t work with the latest Accurascale batch of 37026, 37027, 37043 & 37051.
Better get the file and roof grey aerosol out then 😊

Have you used Bachmann headcode boxes there?
Yes (older tooling) and filed the lenses to fit more flush into the box.

37027 Loch Eil which I ordered around the same time as starting the layout. Every step forward I’ve been looking forward to this moment. Not had chance all week to have a proper long running session. Kadee couplings fitted and sit at the right height so very impressed with that. But how do you fit the snowploughs? My eyesight is worse than I thought! I want to fit the ones that allow the coupling to be used as my locos run round and return. If anyone has fitted these please can you point me in the right direction? Thanks also to the kind soul who earlier in the week explained how to use my prodigy advanced, I really should read the instructions 🤣
You are welcome 😊

End of life (with EWS) 31110 Traction Magazine in BR Green would be nice to go with 466 as part of the EWS heritage fleet.Yes! Remember when this was in the 1999 EWS "Stay of Execution" ELR event and named Traction Magazine, by editor David Brown. Nose doors and disc headcode reinstated, bodyside grills modified and a full repaint. This loco is definitely a good call!

Oh that sound file takes me back to the late 80s watching Railfreight Grey 31s on Speedlink/Grainflow workings and pairs of them on the 30-odd wagon long BIS hoppers to and from Middleton Towers.
On a visit to Nuneaton once (1990s) there were two Petroleum sub sector 31s restarting an oil tanker train, sanding the rails and sparks flying… no doubt you’ll be including those features too at some point! 🤣It was these beasts that got me hooked on my love of diesels! Remember as a 5 year old boy, standing at track level at Thetford station, looking up at a blue 31/4 pulling away at full thrash on a Norwich to Birmingham New Street. I was awe inspired! Also remember Railfreight grey freight workings, as a kid at Dereham station (now Mid-Norfolk Railway) when it was a freight only branch, picking up grain at Ryburgh. Even had a cab ride into the head shunt!

Just somehow found a slot for a pre-order of 409 and paid a despot at a model shop. Hopefully it sticks
Probably shouldn't have done with a manor on the way as well. But given that this particular loco is now semi-preserved with LSL it seemed a safe bet for a long future life (albeit probably in a different livery).
Just need to flog my two 2010-ish era Bachmann models now...
I presume the Scottie Dog logo shown in the livery samples on the AS website is an error/photoshop from the 37402 model?
I've love a Dog, but from what I can see its not prototypical.
Nor is it prototypical on 37409...

It’s not all good mate. It’s shown up I have a dodgey point that they refuse to stay on the track for so the civil engineers will have to pay a visit. Also it shows that my Prodigy Advanced won’t play any functions above F11. Fortunately F11 is the flange squeal which is superb. As others have noted there are lots of lovely little noises that play beyond the engine noise as you operate it. Heavy train mode is a roof slate rattler. I’m totally blown away with the quality of them.
Sorry I’m gushing 😀Hi
If it's the guagemaster prodigy you are referring too then you should be able to press shift - 2 then 0 (F20) etc, to go above F13.

Is it not possible to change a few CVs and disable the automatic wheel slip? I expect many people will want to consist them and this feature seems to make that difficult. Surely if the Loksound is sophisticated enough to have this feature it’s also sophisticated enough to have a way to disable it?I have tried it on 128 speed steps and makes no difference. I was hoping that maybe someone had come up with some CVs to do exactly that. So far, I have managed to get the spirax valves working on F17 and the taillights to actually work on F18, with some advice on this thread. As a temporary measure, I have removed the cardan shafts from one of the locos.

I have tried to recreate myself, but the innovation artwork seems the issue, of trying to obtain the decals. This has had alot of requests on here and I believe that Fran and co at Accurascale will be onto a winner here, possibly having to do a second batch, due to popularity!
#ACCURASCALEINNOVATIONROG37... let's do this! 😍😊

If you consist them but have them a foot apart, do they actually move at the same speed and is the behaviour the same?
What if you reverse the order of the locos?
I suspect that one is slower than the other running.
Roy
It's very intermittent. I'm not sure if the automatic wheelslip feature, without using F8, is supposed to be there? Ive heard it on YouTube vids etc.
Basically both locos run fine as a consist at any time, either diretion, until one of them decides to automatically go into wheelslip/overload mode, then the speed stays constant as the front loco carry on accelerating.
Guess a real 37 does this if you give it too much power and overload the amps.
I think I will just remove the cardan shafts of one of the locos.

I suppose you need to sped match them first before going into a consist. Some controllers have this feature and give guidance on how to do it, but in any case you could do it with CV5 and alteration of the speed curve if necessary. 3-point speed curve with CV6, but there are more sophisticated methods.
CV 5 and 6 match. F8 on (wheelslip) consist fine, both automatically go into wheelslip mode, consist fine, both go into thrash mode, fine, they both go I to opposite modes automatically when above speed step 12, theres your problem.

The one that goes into wheelslip mode, definately slower, otherwise they run well together as long as I dont open them up, but when they both go into wheelslip or full open, again fine

Whilst the sound file is absolutely brilliant it definitely doesn’t alter the acceleration settings when it goes into wheel slip. So your problem is mismatched consist, not the wheel slip, which is only sound only and not motion.
