  1. Nice progress Kieran, looking forward to more updates
  2. Nice work Kieran with the difficult Q Kits kit. I have 2 white metal versions, 1 still in bits and the other that looks like a beast. To be fair to the kits though, the front profile has been captured better than the Silverfox version
  3. Hi Steve All the post office vehicles in the photo are from the Trackside range so have not been repainted. The shades are all the same despite being purchased at different times
  4. Great era Kieran and super video, thanks for sharing
  5. Nice pics with lots of atmosphere. The sunlight really helps to make it stand out. Love the green Sulzer, although the couple of pics without any trains in the shot are class
  6. Nice pics Kieran, particularly like photo 5,the gentle curves of the tracks with the landscape blending in with the backscene is just perfect, well done and keep up the good work
  7. Spacing of the poles looks fine to me Kieran, nice addition with the engine shed, I am sure it will be well used with the stud of steamers you are accumulating!
  8. Kieran-a layout is never finished! Nice job with the trees and telegraph poles and yes the empty freight yard is strikingly too realistic. I like your long beet train, with your 121 and 141, yet another distant memory from the past.
  9. Agreed Kieran, also the track work looks great, very realistic
  10. Haha, you getting into buses as well now Kieran! Nice job with the CIE bus, looks good. The guy at Sunrise Models is great to deal with, he supplied me with all my Belfast Corporation bus transfers. Like the GNR bus and the conversion done to it,a nice touch.
  11. Great pics, one of the best era's for NIR with the variety of stock on show, great memories. Nice scene from the County Down also, you have a layout and loco stud to be proud off.
  12. Lovely work Kieran, you are certainly motoring with your projects, keep up the good work and the posts coming. Looking forward to your BUT railcars
  13. Looking forward to seeing that, along with some 6 wheelers
  14. Nice job Kieran, you going to tackle one of those weird brake vans the Co Down had?
  15. Nice job Kieran, like the livery and lining, the hard work has paid off. A few six wheelers next!!
  16. For the first time since Christmas, I managed to get a running session on the layout! Managed to take one photo of a quiet Great Victoria Street station, which reflects my modelling exploits over the last few months, more activity on the layout is hopefully on the horizon.
  17. Seriously great piece of modelling Kieran, hope you are able to get as close to the right shade as possible
  18. Nice job with the tipper Kieran and nice busy scene
  19. Nice work Kieran, plenty of black GNR loco's in the fleet now
  20. Nice work Kieran, really like the cattle train. A couple of months tweaking a brass kit is nothing,to even get it running is a great achievement, well done and enjoy your own handiwork
  21. Hard to imagine that was 40 years ago!,one of the biggest mistakes ever made for nearly 20 years
  22. Enjoyed the NIR action Kieran, really like that DH.
  23. A couple more photo's from the layout, this time showing a couple of Belfast trolleybuses.Belfast had the largest fleet of trolleybuses in the UK outside of London and the system finally closed in 1968.A BUT trolleybus destined for Bloomfield and a Sunbeam version heading for Ormeau can be seen in the turning circle, just in front of Fane Street school, the school I attended in the mid 70s
  24. Excellent piece of model bashing David, well done
