Tony S tale about the durex reminds me of my grandmother & her 2nd husband. At dinner one night we were talking of decorating and paint. She proudly announced that her and Reg use Durex.

We too are on Economy 7 and it is still the best for us in spite of the 'contract quotes' that they offer all of which have a fixed time limit. Smart meters are there for their convenience only and like others I have refused them. On another aspect they came to fit a smart meter in a relatives house but were unable to do so ... why? he doesn't have internet access so they are not smart meters but just parasites on ones own already paid for internet service.
I had a phone call a few weeks ago asking if I wanted a smart meter. I said no. She asked why. I said why do you continue to write to me and phone me about having a smart meter but you never ever phone me and ask me if I want your cheap fuel deals. Phone call finished.

Morning all.
Bright and breezy here, well at least the weather is.
Some friends from Norfolk are coming to visit us today. They managed to choose a route that had delays form after they left.
Andy (AndyRam). I looked at the list of Channel 5 programmes. I can see why you have to keep quiet about such things!
Have a good day
Tony
Look forward to seeing you build

Claim it now Phil. You've got until August. Claim direct from the card provider if you can as they won't charge you unlike some of the people advertising on TV.
I claimed on credit cards and bank loans direct from my bank in November/December last year and ended up with about 14K back and no fees!
Is it hard to claim it directly like you did Bob? Years ago I had different accounts than I do today. One account was with the Chelsea BS.

Hog roast? The valleys are full of sheep and you plump for hog. Is it wild.
I got offered 8 legs of venison last week for £30. I thought it was two deer.

You still have quite a few months to lodge a ppi claim. The ads are on Smooth Radio far too frequently interspersed between the handful of tracks they ever play.

Kinda sunny, bright, showery, windy day here in sunny Teignmouth. Don't know what storm is rattling the soffits today, but as it is after Freya I shall call it Gail.

Exceptional airshow that of Kidwelly. Too much bombing is done by drone these days, which isn't so visually appealing. My preference is for napalm, much nicer in the dark of night.

Nice that the RAF bomb Pembrey. It saves IS, the group previously known as something else, from doing it.
Is Pembrey that bad? I've heard about Cardiff on a Saturday night.
Early Risers.

To clarify
Nice beachcombing walk this lunchtime in sunny Teignmouth which is presently overcast and grey. Low water was -0.02 metres which revealed quite a lot of seashore including some green clay and some orange clay underlying it.
Up trains were being stopped at one of the signals on the sea wall before being allowed to proceed. In a walk of just over an hour I only saw or heard about 5 or 6 trains in total.
