    Sounds like you have lubricant on the armature and brushes. Take it apart and clean them.

    There are still plenty of Vauxhalls that haven't been produced yet, Viva Ha and HC, Firenza, Victor FA, FC, CD, FE. Ventura, Chevette, Mk1 and Mk3 Cavalier, various Astra's. Carlton's and Royale. Not to mention CF vans and later models.
