  9. Gone for a light snow feel what do think still needs work. Building added new ware house and my attempt at Bedford truck kit from cooper craft made much harder than you would think not helped by excess on the parts hardest part was the cab the rest of the kit was simple enough. Enjoy Regards Rich
  10. here are some pictures of the little extension i spoke of last time it has bridge on it which caps it off nicely ,well that's what i think any way. here goes let me know what you think. I hope the green stuff will improve the look.
  11. the water is good but the boats are out of scale there just temporary. thanks for the comment and interest.
  12. here are some new images i decided to make a small change to one end with a small extension it will now have a bridge over that end. The water is down i have used yacht varnish it has worked well but if you use yacht varnish don't use pva to contain it because it discolors the paint a little. still to do - proper wiring & control panel buildings and structures uncoupling -ordered small magnets to play with frame staining/ painting-: i have small pot of black gloss maybe i will use that panel painting extension-: new section of track to be put down and soldered to. Hole for future joining with other projects ???
  13. Quick vid of the layout with me rambling on take a look ..... i will put some pictures up on here 2moz
  14. pressed publish to early here's another 3 pics
  15. i have now finished all back board sections now here is some pictures, first two picture are in its storage/transport set up it kinda goes over its self.... its not perfect but is allot stronger than phoenix works my other small layout.
  16. do i go to the allotment or try to get the back board cut and trim. I am thinking of multi pin plugs to transfer power from section to section dose anyone know a us-full thread or good supplier.

  17. As i said i would here is the track plan and I have cut the deck out of 3mm-4mm hard board (wardrobe backing), this has been placed on the frame so i can make sure every think fits e.g. the track work. The buildings have been borrowed from one of my other layouts or are things I had laying around, they are used here so i can get the idea of how high the back board needs to be. one of the pictures shows the traverser section i'm thinking of using draw sliders but I am unsure if they will give it to much height, so may have to keep to sliding it on the wood.
  18. Hi love your layout Can i ask how the warehouse buildings were made or are they some think you have bought where did you get them. Regards Richard
