70099 left Crewe at about 12.30, due burton on Trent about 2pm, I am there waiting for it now! Bob

Exactly what I thought initially a year or so back........but I was always a big fan of the 58's....and now the 70's have grown on me.

If it goes via Stenson Jnc from Burton direction, I might pop out, only 15mins away. If it goes via Uttoxeter, I work only 50 mtrs from the line. Keep us informed if possible. Thanks Bob

Hi Guys, See following email I was forwarded earlier today........ Bob. MV SUDKAP, with 70099 on board, now showing on the ABP South Wales website as ETA Newport Docks at 15:00 on 16th October (tomorrow), so has slipped back a bit. Port of Origin was Diliskilesi. Freightliner Heavy Haul reportedly contracted to drag the locomotive to Falcon Works at Loughborough, after a Fitness-To-Run certificate has been granted, plus other Customs formalities. The move would be unlikely to happen prior to Wednesday of course

The SUDKAP, http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shipdetails.aspx?mmsi=304137000&header=true currently heading west through the Mediterranean towards the straits of Gibraltar is en route to Newport from the port of Gebze in Turkey. It is understood to have 70099 on board and is due to dock at Newport on the 16th. Anyone confirm that information.? Bob

Hi MIke, Thats nothing to be ashamed of Mike......look where you are now.!! The reason I started this thread is so that I could see lots of peoples attempts at a control panel.......I too am DCC, but have no desire to control my points by that method. I really fancy the analogue method of pushing buttons, not the stud and probe particularly. This winter is point motor fitting and control panel making.....and the associated wiring......the computer control panel will have to wait for another day. It may well be cheaper to wire up the polarity switches for a double slip.....BUT, do you really think its easier than a Frog Juicer. As I said earlier......having seen the switches and wires required......I think the juicer is simpler....a lot simpler.?????

And as I have found with my Hex(6) Frog Juicer.......you are not limited to 6 frogs.........you can wire in more frogs if you wish....but just be aware of any conflicts that may occur with the train movements......even better value then.!!! Bob
