    would like to run DB Schenker 60074 teenage spirit on Troutons but cannot weather the origanal limited edition, so decided to spray my own will be finished this week first pictures so far.

    morning all just something slightly different while in between some class 47 and 60 projects. been asked to weather a BR loco that is stored waiting scrapping. poor thing.Started with getting grime and in to all nucks and crannies and darkend the bogies,added some rain streaks down the sides and faded and first wearhering on the nose ends then hit it with the air brush still some more to do will post finishing pictures at the wekend as back to work.

    decided to make real logs from small twigs as it looks more realistic and will look good as a rake of timber wagons behind the Colas 56's the wagns will rewuire some bespoke modleing to get them looking something like.

    will do,one of the members drives for DRS and so hope to get it right as they will pick lots of faults as we mebers do.

    Not done any new loco's for a while so started to converts 2 x ViTrains 47's to the Northern Belle Livery as i purchased the decals over 12 months ago.

    Hi Neil is the layout always up for runing in the club rooms?? as we dont gt much runiing time out ours i'm afraid as the layout would take up too much space.

    Good stuff Steve we are certainly going to have a vast collection of wagons and loco for our layout and to give the pubilc plenty to see and variation. just finished some more Colas 56's.Thought i'd make a stack! of em.

    the metcalf station building looks not bad when other street furniture added etc. will look good with a Coals 56 flying past - or chugging along nicley like the Grids usually do.

    Thanks Ralph - they will get their first run out at Leeds show this Septmebr, as Troutons will be there.

    you are quite right i do prefer the 60's but i do have alot of 56's eleven in all and yes only nine 60's .

    the OTA wagons look good on the layout will run 9 wagons behind the Colac 56's and 47's

    Turned old br sector class 56 into the noce looking DCRail 56312 Grey with silver trim cut away the bottom edge of both cabs just like the real thing.

    looking good so far neil - do you use static grass??? as was not so convinced by it untill we used it on Troutons.

    currently weathering the OTS wagons complete with timber loads,these arre to be hauled by Colas 56's and 47's

    Thanks Swifty yes I managed to duplicate it again and have two snow birds now one on a Bachmann chassis and the other a free runner sat on a modified Lima chassis. will have to post some pics.
