    Hi Jim It seemed to be working quite hard up to Willaston Crossing last night but sounded ace........I could here you coming for a good couple of minutes Is it generally all uphill from around Wem to Crewe, I only ask as the Logs always seem to loose time there compared to the times that are avaialble on RTT?

    Think these were my first ever proper rail trips. First one was Oxford to York (47511), shortly followed by Oxford to Crewe. I hadn't seen any railway operation like it and for those hours there, thought I was in heaven. The significance of 82008 and 85034 for haulage meant nothing at the time :laugh:
