Hi Jim It seemed to be working quite hard up to Willaston Crossing last night but sounded ace........I could here you coming for a good couple of minutes Is it generally all uphill from around Wem to Crewe, I only ask as the Logs always seem to loose time there compared to the times that are avaialble on RTT?
  7. It is usually Tuesdays and Thursdays with the occasional cancellation......I was off to see it too.......lol!!!!! Jim will have more info than myself though
  8. It sounded pretty good when powering through Willaston Crossing last night at about 21:00......obviously that was deceiving!!!!!!

  10. I popped into Bescot last night and was on the footbridge just as you were leaving, it looked an impressive load and the 70 sounded good powering away. As always thanks for the pics

  12. Think these were my first ever proper rail trips. First one was Oxford to York (47511), shortly followed by Oxford to Crewe. I hadn't seen any railway operation like it and for those hours there, thought I was in heaven. The significance of 82008 and 85034 for haulage meant nothing at the time :laugh:
