  1. While I don't model the modern era I must admit that 37 looks really sharp.
  2. Thanks for the suggestion guys. I already checked the SLS and NRM records to see if they had anything online but they did not, and as I live in Canada it did raise a problem of viewing any physical books. However I have made contact with someone who has the information and they have been a great help. Thanks again!
  3. Not sure if I am placing this in the correct sub-forum but am looking for a complete Sharp Stewart production list, particularly when the company was based in Manchester (before the move to Glasgow). Does anybody have a copy or know if there is one online that I can look at? Thanks.
  4. I must admit that once again I am disappointed that no early AL's are to be offered but am perplexed as to why the 91 is to be offered after someone else is working on it. I would love to get an updated AL1.
  5. This is from the weekly newsletter of April 26, 2019.
  6. The communications from Kernow stated that the orders would be processed in the order they were paid for. I ordered mine years ago, but I didn't pay for it until late last year, had to wait a bit for the email to say it was shipped.
  7. Is that when you paid for it? I ask as they are going by the date they were paid for, not ordered.
  8. Opened my front door not long ago to see a rectangular parcel waiting for me. I knew what it was but had to wait until I returned home to open it, but am not disappointed by the model. Very nice, but need to get my layout up and running so that I can see if it is not one that seems to have the issue. If it is I will be disappointed as I would probably have to send it back to Kernow all the way from Western Canada.
  9. From reading this thread, as well as the announcement, I am left with the impression that the IP is only for the CADs that have been produced for his products. After all how could he claim IP on a specific class if that class has already been produced? (Class 92, APT, etc.) Also, as has been pointed out elsewhere, how could he say that no one else can, for example, produce a class 92 in any scale when Brush was the actual builder and surely any IP for the class could possibly reside with them? I think that there are numerous posters in this thread that are eager to condemn Mr Jones as they already have a negative opinion of him from previous issues, and while I don't think that is right they are entitled to their opinions. Just my two cents, but of course I could be totally wrong.
  10. I looked back and the only post I could find in which you mention a ship is the following, which only mentions the HAI BANG DA 318.
  11. Well I am more interested in the second batch as my model is among them. I just got the weekly newsletter that states that they haven't received the models yet
  12. Which boat are you referring to? The Mol Truth docked a week ago and has since carried on. Since then there seems to be no news on what is going on with the second batch!
  13. Over the years I have acquired numerous models of Standard, 35, 38, and 59 stock. While I haven't yet motorized any of the EFE cars I have added the improved wheels from Metro Models and had no problems following the instructions. Radley Models is a pleasure to do business with and I have quite a few of their kits, mainly Standard stock. I had hoped that once Bachmann had acquired EFE that they would have offered the underground stock but alas this has not yet happened, if it will at all.
  14. Well the MOL TRUTH has now docked in Southampton. Won't be long to clear customs and then the container will be on its way to Camborne.
  15. The movie is online, the D600 is at 33:14 https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1wuwx0 Here is a still.
  16. I see the MOL TRUTH is now in the Atlantic, about to pass the southern tip of Portugal. For some reason, after waiting years after ordering it, I find this part seems to be the longest!
  17. Actually it is thousands of miles away entering the Gulf of Aden. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/shipid:5194682/zoom:10 I found that when vesselfinder doesn't receive any updated info it puts the ship back to the same position off the Chinese coast.
  18. Nice! But what is a Class 170 doing back in the 1960's?
  19. Took me a bit to find the article, but the finally did in the Calgary Herald. https://calgaryherald.com/business/local-business/cp-rail-investing-in-wheel-crack-detection-technology-in-wake-of-derailments
  20. 'Dj Hammers', the owner of that channel, has a bunch of forward views on various lines. Spent countless hours watching his vids to the point that I recognize stations and locations despite the fact that I have never ridden the NYC subway!
  21. I see that the MOL TRUTH is currently in Singapore, next stop Suez Canal. I hope no one finds out that (North) British warships are going to sail through there!!! What sucks is that once mine reaches Kernow it then has to cross the Atlantic and most of Canada. Would have just been quicker to mail it from China to me!
  22. It is nice but after buying Hornby for over forty years I must admit that not seeing a red box seems wrong somehow!
