    Hi All, Looking to start my first 'proper' layout soon but unsure where to start really. I'm thinking maybe something like a small MoD rail served depot but haven't got an idea about track plans or locations yet. Not sure on size yet, but it will be a small end to end layout with a small fiddle yard attached, probably no more than 6x1. Thanks

    Docking constructors points would in some ways be even more unfair that giving grid penalties. While a loss of points wouldn't impact Mercedes or Ferrari too much, to the smaller teams it could impact upon their survival

    The situation with Vijay has been ongoing for a couple of years now, but has escalted recently with the arrest and India's request to remove him from the UK. As mentioned above, Force India is seperate to Mallya, and I believe he recently sold the majority of his shares in Force India. His situation shouldn't affect them, and I find it highly unlikely they won't see the chequered flag in Abu Dhabi, especially with the sponsorship interest they have now-a-days, in particular the pink BWT partnership.

    The Force India is certainly interesting. I like it as I'm one of their fans, but the design is definitely unusual. Who knows, maybe they'll come out strong...

    Minichamps and Spark seem to be the main brands in 1:43 - certainly for the modern cards. I've got 7 1:43 Force India models all from Minichamps

    Just seen a class 150 this morning at Westbury with a sort of hybrid livery. It retains its FGW purple and pink, but all First Group branding has been removed so it just has the word: 'Great Western' on the sides now. Matthew
