  1. Ahh... well it's just a photograph so something is better than nothing. Would just be nice to see the latest samples of the 2HAL, Mk2E and Crosti 9F.
  2. Well since I am far away from Hartlepool, is it possible for you to post images of the 2-HAL (assuming it's a more advance prototype), BR Mk2 and the Crosti 9F after this coming weekend? Since many will be seeing it there and many more won't be able to see it, it would be rather lovely if images can be posted in the respective topics Cheers!
  3. First running sample of the "Kernow Adams O2". Image taken from facebook. https://www.facebook.com/207521425956079/photos/a.730723053635911.1073741851.207521425956079/741253979249485/?type=1
  4. If anyone can get a hold of scale drawings I will be happy to have a go at the model in sketchup. I do make IR models in HO scale and owing to my family being on the railways since it's inception (Anglo-Indian's) I'd be most happy to try and work something out. I will try and get a scale drawing myself.
  5. Images posted by Dapol. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=827170903967326&set=pcb.827171053967311&type=1&theater https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=827170913967325&set=pcb.827171053967311&type=1&theater Cheers! JB
  6. Would you ever take a risk and produce a good AC electric like the Class 90 or 92 (which IMHO would be the better sellers of the ACs) in either N or OO? Or maybe a Class 59 in OO (I can't think of a reason as to why it's not done still) Cheers!
  7. Well I actually feel that Hornby are doing a great job on this. Seems to have a fairly good level of detail on it and I'm absolutely happy to see the K1 like that.
  8. Seems like there has been a test shot around for almost a month at the Dapol HQ. Hope we get to see it soon.
  9. Totally agree 100% with that first statement of your's. I tried searching for Hornby K1 and I got the results so not sure if the results vary from individual to individual. Usually I don't seem to listen to dates that Hattons gives because I've always found it to be wrong in recent times. And I do cross check with others. But since their website says December then that's more plausible Cheers.
  10. There is already a topic about the Hornby K1 Pint. I suggest you do a quick search before posting. You can have a moderator merge you're thread with the one opened already http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/82160-Hornby-k1/ Re: Delivery dates. I am not sure where you've heard that April was the month but it's apparently due in December this year. If it were due this month there would have been atleast one EP sample shown to us prior to it's release (just like the 2-BIL). Re: the model numbers, I think it's as easy as just looking up the Hornby website. But here are the numbers anyways - R3242 #62015 BR Early Crest - R3243 #62024 BR Late Crest - R3243A #62027 BR Late Crest PS: I request a moderator to merge this thread with the current Hornby K1 thread.
  11. If you have any trouble contacting them then let me know. I too will send them a message. Any link to an image of the locos? Or a pic if you have one? I can send it to them.
  12. It's best if you contact Hornby via twitter, facebook or email and tell them about it. Cheers.
  13. I liked the sound of that positive response Dave Thanks a ton
  14. I'm still going to add (mostly) modern era models to my wishlist... (hey it's a wishlist) OO scale: SR Merchant Navy SR Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 59 Class 87 Class 90 Class 92 N scale: BR Clan Class Class 87 Class 90 O scale: Class 37 (more variants) Class 47 (more variants)
  15. Thanks for the link Cheers! EDIT: Link wasn't working for me at first so I requested one
  16. "Olivia Trains Class 73's Due to the poor logging of Special Commission Class 73 at Dapol it has come to our attention that we have included a model in the 2014/15 brochure that had been allocated to Olivia Trains. 4D-006-007 will not now be produced for general release but has will be manufactured exclusively for Olivia Trains along with 73207 Gatwick Express ( County of East Sussex) and 73141 Charlotte inFirst Group GBRf Livery see here for details www.oliviastrains.com/new-additions Our apologies for this error and many thanks to Neil at Olivia Trains for his understanding Dapol will be replace this model and will amend price lists appropriately. 17. Found this on facebook for those interested....
  18. I really thought it would hit the shelves soon, judging by updates earlier... it's as if time is stuck now Does anyone know if the manufacturing issues in China also affect the product during it's design stage? All along I've only heard of supply issues but not sure if it's more than that
  19. It says December on their website. http://www.ehattons.com/69501/Hornby_R3242_Class_K1_2_6_0_62015_in_BR_early_crest/StockDetail.aspx
  20. Their website is not even updated. Hasn't been for a while
  21. And what was wrong with my DISAGREE? My DISAGREE to his post was just the first part because he didn't get my point. The rest may his his opinion which I don't agree or disagree to. Looks like you take ratings so seriously that you want to even things up. Kiddish....
  22. Read the very own statement that you have quoted from my original post. I am sorry if you didn't understand that. I CLEARLY mentioned that my post was off-topic and that I was just adding a list of the models (both best and what I felt past muster today). I also CLEARLY stated that it was just my opinion with models. I've never had an issue with Hornby in 15 years and received excellent service from them. I am nothing but a very satisfied customer from the Welsh, Danish, Italian and Margate manufacturers.
