Hi, again. I've been working on that model of D285, which I posted a photo of earlier on. It's the bogie mechanical lubricators, which I have built up out of plasticard and 0.4 brass rod. The next thing will be the fitting of the 50A shed plates at the number one end. Then there is the weathering, as previously mentioned. All the best Market65.

Hi there Rob, I hope that regarding the transfers I may be of some help. A quick Goole search has shown that Petersspares.com has the HMRS range of transfers in stock. The sheet in question is number 14P (presssfix). It is priced at £5.79, and has the B.R. steam loco numbers and crests on it. There are also carriage and van transfers on it. I've used these over many years, and always found them to be very good - the transfers I should say. The postal charge for New Zealand will come under their Worldwide shipping service. Hi paul 27, i've a total of four class 40's, and the motors are quite variable noise wise. I think it is possibly a result of mass production. The other thing could be the gear towers are a bit tight - I have had to ease a couple of mine. Hope you get your forty running better with maybe several hours of running-in. All the best, Market65.

I've just started watching The Main Chance series form the early seventies. In the opening credits of series one, a class 47 is seen coming towards the camera with the series title imposed over it. The first is when Realtrack have the new batch of class 144's in stock, and are therefore ready to take orders. Secondly, is posssibly your place in a queue of orders.
