Is that a N/O or a N/C switch? -
Hi all Have just found this thread, brilliant stuff. Getting ready to start putting it all together for my own turntable. Just one thing tho' at the beginning, (post #8 ) the wiring diagram for the DCC - Arduino interface shows a reset switch but in the following photo's there's no sign of one or mention of one in the parts list.

Look's impressive. Any shot's you have would be great to see, especially if you have any of the shed it's self as at some point I'm hoping to model a smaller 3 road version ( late 50's early 60's with the coal drop and turntable )

For some reason the ealier Southern TPO's were green, not the Royal Mail red as else where

Hi Simon I notice the rails have been lifted from the next pit road, is this before that shed was knocked down and rebuilt / made smaller?

RJS1977 The off-set corridors would still be the same side when the train returned to collect them. Highly unlikely, if ever, off-set and central corridors would run together as to dangerous to pass thro' .

I saw that to, couldn't believe how much it sold for, nearly fell out of my chair! Just crazy Must say some interesting ( or is that dodgy ? ) seller's on eBay these days

Hi Shanks You could use a PWM controller for the over bright LED's. Normally used for small DC motor's but will also dim LED's and bought pretty cheap on Ebay

Hi Tony Sadly the very last part of the original shed has just been knocked down, some office's formally attached to the No 1 road shed wall that survived

Hi Thanks all for the welcome. My version of HG will be very condensed 3 road shed, 2 roads to and from turntable and if lucky, a southern style coal drop ( corrugated asbestos sheet ! lol ) similar to Norwwod or Redhill. Although at the moment it's all just bare board with some track laid on cork etc If I can reduce the file size of the few photos I have then will gladly post here.

Hi all. I'm Phil Just joined RMWeb and found this thread. Live Grove Park area of SE Ldn. Layout in the loft is a nice sized 16' x 9'8'' doughnut shape. Been away from railways and modelling for around 20yrs for various reasons but glad to be back. 00 gauge Southern region late 50's early 60's Layout has a 'loosely' based model of Hither Grn depot ( or will have ! ) and long'ish station, 6 plus loco. Also a member of the GCR and RVP. I work on the TPO on gala days, which means I legally get to throw old bags off the train!
