  1. Hi Lucian I used one of these from eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arduino-Hall-Effect-Sensor-Switch-Module-in-UK-AVR-ATMega-PIC-/262037437709?hash=item3d02a5fd0d:g:eK0AAOSwrklVdMUs
  2. Hi all Can anybody assist me please, I've had a change of layout design and now only have 2 roads to and from the TT. I'd like if possible for it to turn anti-clockwise each time, from the 6 'o' clock position (the head being at 12) so the head rotates back round to the 7 and then slightly on again to the 6 'o' clock when instructed to. Do I leave out the first set of instructions in the sketch regarding myStepper2 'forward' and the first set in the 'position' instructions ( the 'moveTo' ) Like Lucian, mine also sits and makes a high pitched noise when at rest Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Five minutes with a mini blow lamp and I'm sure it will, the sound will be more like 'ooof ooff' as you burn your hands trying to locate it on the track

For some reason I cant add a link to the item, so, search for Hornby M7 and look for the loco that's been drizzled in PVA or some such. How to mess up a good loco.
  21. Hi all Everything seems to be going well with this set-up but just a couple of things I hope can get sorted. 1. The motor just 'pulses' round, not a smooth rotation. 2. Got as far as #17 the 180 degree test, motor finds the sensor, sits there for a few seconds then starts to pulse 1 step forward then 1 back for further few seconds, stops again and then moves off to do a 180 back round where it repeats the same sequence ( i.e. sits then pulses ) Any help with these is greatly appreciated
  22. Excellent news, just the thing I'm after
  23. How about a Saw tooth roofed engine shed, adaptable to various width's (3 or 4 roads )
