    EBay madness

I agree, open a case with eBay and they should refund you.
  2. 5369 at Dartford. Buildings behind have gone, now housing.
  3. Don't look like an ex-TPO coach. Railway vehicle preservations website has a photo of both their LNER coaches ( under Collection )

    Teaky's attic

That's a really tidy job on that roof light.
  5. Paul J. Second photo is really good, can see a 47 way off in the distance. Is that Harwich or Parkstone Quay? ( CBR-5-124 & 125 )
  6. Just to let everyone know that Railway Vehicle Preservations ( RVP ) will be launching the Diesel Brake Tender at the 'Last Hurrah' It's hoped either D123 or the class 20 will both propel and tow the DBT on one or two freight workings over the weekend.
  7. Lovely shot of the 37 and dbt. Thanks again for your great photo's
  8. For the cross London freight don't forget the Thursday ( I think ) class 52 Acton to Norwood Junc.
  9. When I worked at Victoria, the railmen there used to go 'fluffing' any chance they got, in fact other guys would cover their barrier for them and get a few quid from the tips earned for doing so.
  10. Some good news then imt. I've got a Bachmann 2-epb that wants beat the land speed record, tried different chip, same thing. Will send it to Bachmann for repairs.
  11. Have you tried the chip in another loco to see if it does the same thing?
  12. Having been past the Reservoir fairly recently and seeing the area close by it, stripped, the quarry looks like it's going to be expanding. I'd say it wouldn't be such a stretch for Tarmac to re-jig the site for a connection to the GCR and send their trains out down the branch and eventually onto the MML.
  13. From the information I had been given, the rest is going in, weekend of the 2nd/3rd.
  14. I was told there had been a low speed collision involving 2 engineers trains at that location. One wagon broke it's back, the other suffered less damage. Both are still there.
  15. Ah ok Agree with your wish list but I'd add a W-class.
  16. Is that the big pile of scrap metal up at Swith? Would have thought trying to build on the old tip won't be a good idea, gasses etc and hope it don't sink
  17. That last one in #637. Love the green class 40 and how far the coal has to slide down the bank to the merchants yard below.
  18. I was under the impression the shed was staying put and the single line running down the side of it.
  19. When I worked for the CM&EE (ODM) at Waterloo main, the washers at Clapham and Wimbledon seemed to break down fairly regularly. We had to wait for an ecs working to take us out and back at Clapham as too dangerous for our gang to carry tools and walk back.
