  11. That's one hell of a hot dog the girl in the bottom left photo has. She looks a bit like Fiona Bruce.
  12. Just to let you know Phil & Steve will be at show in Churston Ferrers, near Churston railway station on Saturday with Tipham.
  13. Adam has now finished the video of Merryfield lane and is attached bellow. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/15586f0169f74e9d?projector=1
  14. Following a visit from Adam a university student who is doing a documentary on model railway exhibition layouts, he has started filming on Merryfield Lane an exhibition layout that belongs to Plymouth and South East Cornwall MRC. To allow him to upload some of his work I have started this thread. Below is a track plan of the layout. More too follow.
  15. Hi Jeremy Martin (Templot) Wynne is looking for large Templot projects with some track building, can you help him? http://85a.co.uk/forum/view_topic.php?id=2859&forum_id=1&jump_to=20131#p20131
  16. Hi Chaps I think some of this may be of interest to you Cornish modellers, it contains thirty odd thousand piccies of all sorts, but it is searchable, I have found that if you click on a photo you tend to get a series of others by clicking on the arrows eitherside of the one you're looking at. http://cornishmemory.com/ Hope it is of some use. Edit forgot the link
  17. If there is no demand for 00-sf, why are so many following this thread, or is the fact that the numbers adopting it are now getting to the point that DOGA are frightened of losing out.
  18. Mark Thanks for your detailed reply, when I get around to needing a method of point operation I will give it a go.
  19. Mark Could you please give some details on your method of servo mountings Please. TIA.
  20. Hi All Ian and Phil will be taking Tipham to Derby roundhouse in a couple of weeks time. Phil is the one with the beard that appears behind the layout in one or two shots, he doesn't bite if you buy him sufficient real all or Plymouth Gin and tonics. Steve was the clean shaven one. Unfortunately a trip to Wales with his Mrs prevents his attendance at Derby. They had a good day on Sunday by all accounts, although there has been some muttering about a lack of sausage sandwiches and bacon butties, which they would have been prepared to pay hard cash for when they arrived and set up. I am led to believe that the good folk at Barnstaple provide a bacon butty service.
  21. Steve & Phil should be on their way to the members day bash with Tipham about now. I hope you & they have a great day.
