Can anyone confirm if the new 21 pin 33s have tail lights?

Hopefully there will be some spares popping up on the website

Not sure if original and refurbished sound chips will be available again?

Thats annoying as they were there this morning. Maybe theyve just marked them out of stock so there not a huge build up of orders while they send the 37s out?

The first batch of 73s were wired wrongly i bilieve. 

On mine ( from 2nd or 3rd batch ) F21 - F24 controls the lights so can put on whatever i want. F0 dosent do anything

Ive just fitted the lokpilot to Loch eil.

What are the function keys for the cab lights / engine room lights / control desk? Only give it a quick run so far but really pleased with it so far

If i remember rightly i dont think it fit in any 00 models at all she tested - but it did fit in an n gauge class 28

F21-F24 are the auxilliary lighting controls, F21 and F22 do the A cab lights and blinds, F23 and F24 do the B end. Not sure how your ones managing to engage F28 when selecting F22 though...

I dont know that it is, but the loco is behaving like it has. With the lights on the loco functions exactly as youd expect with F28 engaged.

For example if i press F21 - the engine starts as it does with F22 - F24

Anyone whose fitted the Dapol Class 73 can i ask if youre directional lights work correctly? 

Ive got a later Intercity 73 136. With the Dapol imperium decoder i get independant control of the cab lights and blinds either end.

But with the TXS fitted F0 dosent control any of the lighting. I do get lights on F22 but it also seems to engage the F28 mode as it starts up horns before moving and does the brake sound when stopping. Also then, the sound wont turn off agasin using F1?

Yup, if i buy points or flexi the first thing im normally asked is do you need fishplates?

DCC ready loco, Do you need a decoder? 

Easy upsells.

Bachmanns website says the green 32-492SF Class 40 has arrived. 

So far tho ive not seen it at any of the retaillers

Did you unlink the decoders from the first device before using them with the 2nd device? I got an email with a reset code when i first instaslled mine, took a few attempts at putting the code in and power cycling but it did work in the end

I wonder if this is the competitor model Hornby got wind of that made them upgrade there model?

Wouldnt be suprised to see a prduction HST in the future

11.50 is an odd time. Maybe its a clue? If it was 11.48 id have said n gauge. Has to be something in the national collection id imagine.

Fitted a Hornby 21 pin TXS decoder to mine and it runs and sounds really good. With the power bank theres no stuttering at all. Really pleased with it :)

Are they on the 37/4? I dont recall seeing a F key for it on my Concrete Bob.

So ive installed mine.

The class 56 installed without a hitch. Updated the decoder at the beginning then loaded the 56 sound profile all within 10 mins. Runs and sounds really good.

The class 73 im having trouble with. Updated the decoder to begin with. Failed first time but was fine 2nd time. The 73 sound profile has so far installed twice, but getting no sound or movement. Takes a good deal longer to install as well. Now trying for a 3rd time but with the power bank removed. The decoder does work as i quickly checked it before linking it to the app and it chuffed away merrily.

EDIT :  Failed again. So then ive decided to try a different profile as im sure ive read somewhere that the 73 profile is problematic. Tried the deltic and the and the 08 sound and both installed first time. I do however seem to have a broken speaker as its all crackly and the sound breaks up.

Just left it installing the 73 profile for the 4th time. EDIT : .... And failed for a 4th time!

EDIT : After a few more tries i tried it on my phone and this time it worked.

Only thing i could do with is a new speaker now

My 2 decoders have arrived. Waiting to recieve them are a Dapol 73 and a Hornby 56.

Off to Toby Carvery now mind, so fitting will have to wait until later on.

Ive tested a few other locos on the first radius as a redesign means the locos need to go over a first radius curve to exit the engine shed roads. All the following are fine  :

Accurascale 37, Hornby 56, Hornby new tooled Flying Scotsman and Dapol 73

Cheers in the end i swapped it out for a Dapol imperium which ive managed to to remap
