  1. Mine arrived by DPD this morning at 10am, stunning little wagons! Very pleased with them indeed
  2. I'm far from being a class 66 fan, they are far too late for my chosen time period and I get bored of seeing them at work... But I ordered a Colas one when they were announced, then yesterday when I saw 66789 in large logo blue had been added I had to order that too! I still don't like 66's but I couldn't resist these! I'd vote for the Royal Scotsman pair too. As for sound, I've just gone for DCC ones, but if the Scotsman pair (or just one of them) were done I'd want sound, but if the sound files were supplied by Olivias I would definitely pass and just get the standard version and add superior sound by biffo or someone else later.
  3. Well i've just paid the first payment for my two models no matter what!
  4. Thats good news. After the release of the Intercity ones I cancelled my pre-order of all the Scotrail ones just in case they used the same dark and light greys! I'm still not going to re-order them until i've seen them though because the intercity ones have got me very wary
  5. As a big 47/7 fan (while they were based in Scotland) Even I admit that more Scotrail livery versions could be a bit too much at the moment (unless it was a general release model next year to go with the DBSO) But if they were to release a blue with grey roof version or 47711 in large logo I would be all over them in an instant! (Even if they did them without the car type spotlight and we had to add them ourselves)
  6. I can understand N modellers being upset that the OO one looks like it will get the go ahead first, especially when it was announced as a N project to start with, and I feel for Mick at DToS because this is his baby and modelling in N himself I'm sure he would be gutted if the N project never made it. I was going to order an N gauge one in the hope that it would help support and push for a OO one, but when the OO was was announced shortly afterwards I decided to order two OO ones instead. But, I don't think a viable OO one should be held back until a N one caught up or was made first!
  7. Anyway... It's a great model this SLW class 24 isn't it...
  8. Thanks everyone, I've just had confirmation from Mick at Durham Trains of Stanley that he has reserved one for me
  9. Besides Hattons, who else dealer wise is in the northern rep area? (Just don't want to use Hattons if at all possible)
  10. If it was released as a standard release it would be discounted from day one of release by all the decent retailers, but if it was a commissioned model, the shop that commissioned it wouldn't discount them at all unless they couldn't sell them which is unlikely! Shops seem quite happy to hold stocks of commissioned items for years before even thinking of discounting them.
  11. My wish is that no one commissions it and Bachmann release it as a general release loco instead so the retailers can discount it... But we all know thats not going to happen and we will have to pay the commission price instead
  12. I find the original image perfect on laptop, ipad & samsung phone, but the adjusted photo by BWsTrains looks extremely flat, lacking detail and washed out on all three devices!
  13. I got a reply on the Digest stating they will start work on the second EP soon and will be adjusting the turn under along with some other details post 25 - https://digest.Dapol.co.uk/forum/main-forum/class-21-29/793-still-looking-for-news/page2
  14. It's on Dapols front page on the moving image slide
  15. I'm away from Tuesday so it doesn't matter, I'll order one from Kernow instead!
  16. That was my Spotrail one its my Barbie one that im waiting for that was preordered on the same day (the day they were first announced i think) and when i spoke to you on the phone last year for payment of the Spotrail one you actually mentioned my Barbie one (RT156-114 i in plain DC) would be available later (without me asking you about it)
  17. Hi Charlie, John Webster, Sheffield
  18. Hi Charlie, I've still not had a reply, I sent an email as requested and waited 3 weeks before sending another but still nothing? Is there a problem. I've checked both spam and junk folders and i have your email set as friendly and there is definitely nothing. I know you are busy packing stuff and doing shows and I don't want to be one of those people who pester you when you're busy but I thought when you asked me to message you, that i would have heard back within a month, So I thought i'd ask here since I see you've commented on here recently, just incase you haven't got my emails
  19. Thanks Andy... Well how did I miss that? And i've just got my new glasses haha (its on page 78 of mine though!?!)
  20. OK, I feel like a complete numpty here but where is the 10-min video of Phil Parker looking back at 60-years of TT? I've looked but can't find it. What page is the video link on?
  21. He was asking if it was still being released because it isn't in the new catalogue that a lot of us received in the post today and neither is the Colas 70. I'm guessing its a catalogue error for both locos but its a valid question even if it is in the wrong place
  22. As accurate as possible using the toolings available! It's a compromise I was expecting and I'm more than happy to keep my order in for 2 models
