  1. Unfortunately, I have the tee shirt. My last example was when my Iain Rice 4mm chassis book played hide and seek last month and after some extensive searches, I ordered a well used, workshop smelly, but cheap temporary replacement. The day it arrived, the original exposed itself, but that's anothet story !
  2. The use of the B verb sounds ominous for the tenants of your workbench Rob. Hope they survive the onslaught, particularly the 517.
  3. What, you now want cats and pigeons as well !! Good thought though 😎
  4. From the look of that workbench, someone is having way too much fun ! Well done that man, including Chris for proving that a modeller makes the best model kits.
  5. @Modelu Chris is there any chance of seated gentlemen with their hats on laps? Perhaps some assorted luggage items, including hat boxes, to go on the luggage racks?
  6. I know exactly how your feel Mark and well done for your honest humour. Your posts always make me smile 😀 Perfectly expressed Rob and if everyone just had a go, most would surprise themselves 🫢
  7. I can see evidence of a well handled wet palet at work. Oh and that overscale rear bumper should have dropped off ears ago! Lovely work and following with interest. Bill
  8. Happy New Year Graham.
  9. Happy New Year Kevin and thanks for the continued peace and tranquillity.
  10. I've always thought Hornby TTS was unsophisticated and if sound is to be fitted at all, then if funds allow, it should be done with a higher degree of sophistication. Well done Neal, will I find a 'how you did it' somewhere on your thread? Would be useful given the apparent level of interest here. Best
  11. Well, as it's well and truely the panto season . . . "Oh no you have'nt !!!" 🥳 Personally, I'm completely incapable of not finishing any chocholate bar once opened. Hope you enjoy it soon Chris. Best, Bill
  12. Excellent Neal. Great build which we're all enjoying muchly 😁
  13. Will you be detailing the cab Neal and have you considered breaking up that huge expanse of bodywork by modelling open cab doors. I was surprised just how easy it was to make the small Metro cab look with only a little effort.
  14. I was pleasantly surprised in how well the loco drive County 4-4-0 runs and will be finessing it in due course. Have fun with yours Rob.
  15. I have both unused examples in red and blue boxes and they look lovely and as soon as the mainline gets built, I'll let you know how they run. Always happy to help Graham, now where's my hat and coat?
  16. Appropriate appendages crossed Neal, particularly as I've just ordered my SRM crew and passengers from Modelu.
  17. Ah, I see what yo mean now, as I was confused with the tern "long back sidings", as these are in the cutting. Yep, that couold work too.
  18. Just a thought, but as Graham uses 3 link couplings, moving the goods shed to the rear back sidings in a cutting, might make shunting operations with manual coupling and uncoupling just too frustrating / difficult. Hopefully a non-issue, as the joint road vehicle access to the station and goods handling facilities works really well.
  19. I suppose you could call that a lucky escape, jut not so much fun!
  20. Haha, no pressure then Neal, just enjoy yourself 😁
  21. A joyous festive season to you and those you love Neal and thank you for a wonderfully interesting and entertaining year at Henley-on-Thames and all the best for 2024. Cheers, Bill
  22. A fascinating branch and with some unique buildings. I feel I must model it sometime, as I lived there in my formative years and walked the trackbed frequently. Hope the DCC conversion goes without difficulty. Best, Bill
  23. Hi Mark, your perfectionist tendencies are sending you the wrong messages, as there be nowt wanting with that brake gear! Well done old chap !
