Looking good. It's a shame they're GWR, won't suit my layout.

Went today with three friends - had an absolutely fabulous time. What a magnificent achievement; and the level of detail in the scenery is out of this world. Well done, and congratulations.

Possibly waiting until they could fill a container?

Hi Andy, Chapel Tunnel corner looks great on the video. Best Wishes, Trevor
-
Still ok. Railways don't function well without passengers, but they NEED FREIGHT. Trevor
-
That's it Andy, proper trains, not glorified trams and Buses!! Trevor
-
I agree Andy, it's a pain in the unmentionable. YouTube's the same with ads, ads, ads interrupting the viewing. Trevor
-
Love the new look, Andy; lots of passenger trains. Good job you weren't tempted to go single track at the beginning; at the back of your mind you must have known that wouldn't work for you. I expected the SWT 159, but not the rest, not so quickly anyway!! I'm pleased you've had the courage to do what you want to do. Keep it up. I for one will keep watching. All the very best. Trevor

I'm wondering about a South West Trains 159? TRevor

Great work Andy, it's really taking shape. Take it easy now for a bit, keep your weight off your knee to help it get better. Get well soon. All the Best, Trevor

Brilliant video, Andy - a nice mix. Trevor.

Yes, Hardwicke was based at Carnforth for a time in 1980 and had a few runs out with the Midland Compound, and some runs to Grange-over-Sands unaided with 4 Mk1's. Trevor -
Great video Andy keep 'em coming. I particularly enjoy the mix of running and layout building, and especially the backscene painting. Keep up the good work. Trevor

Yes, Bachmann say it's expected in November. It does look rather good. A review on Youtube states it's fitted with a speaker in the tender; now, where to get a sound project? Trevor -
Honestly, how do you do it? I go away for just 4 days, and come back to FIVE pages, and 3 videos! Going to need another break when I've caught up, assuming I do, because there's more coming in all the time. Not really complaining Andy, it's all interesting and informative, as well as pleasurable. Keep up the good work, Trevor
-
Yes, thanks Andy. I understand what you're doing. I'd have put a diagonal piece of tape across. Just a different way of doing things. Trevor
-
About the control panel - is it me, or have you missed out a crossover on the main lines to the right of the station, and another where the sidings come out onto the inside loop? Or am I jumping the gun? Best Wishes, Trevor

Hi All, A big thank you to all of you that have "liked" the pictures of my South Lancashire Railway layout, you've given me the confidence to post again. Here we see former Manchester Ship Canal Peckett No11 with a wagon of coal for the coaling stage at Highfield loco shed, together with an overall view of the end of Highfield Station, with an exhibition of preserved buses in the car park. Each bus has played a part in my life. I hope you enjoy these photos.

I've never posted pics on here before, but thought I might stick my neck out and show a couple of drone shots of my preserved South Lancashire Railway.

Vey nice, Andy. I hope it goes past the platforms, that step on the middle of the side girder sticks out quite a bit; or is it H0 Scale? Great work so far. It's interesting to see how someone else does things. All the Best, Trevor

I'm pleased Martin's doing a week driving to give him a break from trying to flatten what looks to me to be a mountain, ie levelling ground for foundations.

Agree. And the DCC standards seem to be set by the NMRA in America. Trevor
