  13. Can anyone help, does anyone have a Ho layout available for a show next October in Swansea. I want the show to demonstrate variety. Thank you in advance
  14. Recently joined the society, I have some wheel which need turning down for some Dapol locos. The year book only gives an address but I want to contact him and ask a question but there isn't an email address or phone number. Can anyone advise please?
  15. Can anyone help, I need to sort the wheels out for my hymek to 2mm finescale. Is it worth buying new wheels or getting them turned down?
  16. Look forward to seeing you Phil. Hope these lovely smells from the kitchen travel to Swansea Scott
  17. Final preparations complete ready for set up tomorrow afternoon. A years worth of preparation is nearly reality, look forward to welcoming you all to the show. Scott SRMG Show Manager
  18. New to 2mm and require some information on conversions of ready to run models. I can see there are conversion kits from the 2mm society for some models but not all. What would be the process for building chassis for models like the Hall, Grange, 9f etc. Are there available frame kits to convert to 2mm fine scale.
  19. 5 days until we welcome all our guests to Swansea. Look forward to seeing you all. Happy modelling.
  20. Superb layout. Enjoyed reading this topic from the beginning. Look forward to seeing more photos of this superb layout.
  21. Thanks Gents I am the show organiser for Swansea so well aware that Gareth is coming and know him. I was just interested in any additional information or advice which could be given was all.
  22. Having modelled in P4 and EM in the past and never achieving what I want, due to lack of space I was thinking of having a go in 2mm Finescale. I like n gauge but no matter what ever I do it never looks right with regards to track work. Before I join the 2mm society I was looking for any advice on starting off in this scale? From past experience I need to pick a location and model it. The only doubt is conversion of steam locos to 2mm from standard n gauge stock. Any advice would be most helpful
  23. It was a good article. I am tempted to have a go in 2mmFS
  24. Apologies Brian for your layout being missed off the list. I have amended. Look forward to meeting up in a couple of weeks Scott
