      Very good paul. Club is moving ahead well, we have taken over the basement which is going to house an o gauge layout.

    Hi Jazz Just come across your topic 1 word WOW. I intend to read from page 1 and look through as what I have seen so far is amazing. Your workmanship is top class. Ive just started out in 0 gauge moving up from 4mm and itching to start building. Have you built the acme hall? If so whats the kit like and would you recommend it for your first 0 gauge loco kit?     0 gauge is such a treat to build. Alot less fiddly compared to the smaller scales

      Until you get to all the tiny bits you wouldn't bother with in smaller scales. But it's worth it in the end.

    Feel like ripping up layout and starting again. can't get it to look and run how I want. Frustrating

      There is only one way to fix the problems - one at a time. Concentrate on it in that manner and you will be fine!

      If that's how you feel now, the seeds of doubt are sown, start again dude, keep it simple. And achieve able in a said time. Flog it on flea bay and move on.

    Oh im currently studying at swansea university and live here. Just need to find a plan/ location to model. Want something welsh with a small halt near by the yard.

    Thank you chris, im from swansea and I always enjoy reading learning about different valley lines. And what makes others want to model them. I am about to undertake a project in 0 gauge, unfortunately I cant afford pannier tanks nor 56xx or any other welsh tank yet, one day Scott
