  3. Hi Dave Just found this topic. Superb layout and really enjoyed reading and watching the videos you have posted. You have captures a lot of atmosphere in this layout. The locos you have what company produces them? I particularly like the Ruston diesel Look forward to seeing more pictures and videos. Scott

  5. Just found this topic. Superb pictures, what are your plans with the layout? What kits do you use for your engines, the 94xx looks superb as does yoyr 47xx. Also what are the kits like to put togethe? Once again very impressive locos and pictures scott
  6. I cant decide if i should keep the fiddle yard or make scenic sidingd. I tend not to use the fiddle yard alot so maybe long sidings will be answer. decisions?

      Scenic Sidings are a good idea

      Neil Rushby did an article on them sometime back

      Personally, I like them because you model more of the landscape / surrounding scene

      and they're easier on the eye IMHO - rather than bare wood...

  12. Hi marc im very good. It really is a superb layout. I know the feeling about no time to model but luckily uni finishes in june so nice break to finish some projects. The ixion hudswell clarke looks a nice model, very tempted to get one before they dissappear and use it with a similar style layout as to what you got, somewhere welsh. Shunt some of the Dapol coal wagons around. So track plan I need to find next to fit a baseboard size similar to what you got. Scott

  17. Strange to think I actually started Railway modelling 10 years ago today. How different the hobby is now compared to 10 years ago. :)

      I have to agree. I called there a few weeks ago in the pouring rain, all shut up and silent but very atmospheric.

  24. Hi Can anyone help when would the 2-Bil's have received the yellow warning panel. And how late would you have seen the units with no warning panels at all? Thanks Scott
